Put it to good use the day I got it and it did not let me down!!

Worked as expected

Was running Cat6 wire from house to house, and this crimp tool worked perfect. Since Cat6 wires are a big thicker than Cat5, I had to not press too hard, as to not cut the wires inside. Other than that, worked amazingly.

Nice crimp

would be nice if it was easier to line up the wires but the tool is great

Works very well

Bought this tool along with 500feet of Cat5e cable and set up & wired an entire home network without any trouble! Looked on the internet and downloaded cable wiring diagrams, was careful stripping and crimping connectors, had no troubles at all. Made about 12 cables including patch, reversal and Machine to machine Cat5e Ethernet cables at about one third the cost of ready wired cables. Great value

A good tool

Crimp tool, works like a person that knows how to crimp would expect. The cutter and stripper was very sharp and cut cleanly, the crimper made a good solid connection. No complaints.

You get what you pay for.

I bought a box of cat5 cable a while ago as a bundle with this tool after the first few times i used it the die for pushing the pins down moved out of alignment i tied to fix it but was unable to get them back to there original position also had trouble with pin 8. I just recently purchased the PaladinDataShark Network Tool bundle and i am very happy with my purchase. I would not recommend this tool to anyone.

Awesome Value

These crimpers are as good or better than some models that cost twice as much. The handles are rounded nicely so they don't make your hand sore after crimping all day, and the wire-stripping part works perfect on several brands and types of ethernet cables.

Bad Tool

These are not so good as the wire cutter works but if you need to strip as well buy another tool.

Simple, easy to use, great value

At half the price (home improvement warehouses), a great value and easy to use . . . enough said.

I used this tool literally hundreds of times in the matter of a year. This tool was very handy and worked perfectly every single time I used it. It was part of my tool kit that was issued by my college, where I made most of the cables. Never had any problems with pin 8 not being crimped, just apply enough pressure and pin 8 will make contact. Easy to use, fool-proof, and very very reliable! I'm about to buy another one because i can't find the one I had. There is really no need to purchase a crimp tool that costs more than $20-$25, they all work the same, you just have to know how to use them...
