Spent 4 hours routing cables to make my new build nice and neat only for it to not turn on. Very frustrating looking at all this beautiful hardware with no power. Stay away.

I was surprised when I received this PSU at its size and weight. I actually had to remove a brace to get it into place in a mid tower. The cables are overly long giving you plenty of room for routing them where ever they need to go. My home unit is running a overclocked quad core with sli gtx 260 core 216 superclocks. Its rock solid and stable, never a waver or crash. 100% recommendation for this PSU!!!!
Hands down best power supplies made

This power supply is not about glitz or glam. Do not let the price fool you! This is a top notch power supply which puts out 60amps all on one 12v rail. Many magazine have used this same power supply for their annual high performance rig builds for many years coming, they know something. This is made from only quality components, goes through rigorous quality control, and will readily supply your system the power when it needs it.
The cable connections length is best I have seen, much longer than most with every connection you could wish for and then some. As usual my experience has been top notch!

i7, 6GB GSkill DDR3 1600(PC3 12800) tri-channel RAM, ATI Radeon 3650 1GB (pulling power via mother board), EVGA X58 SLI Motherboard, running Server 2008 with half a dozen virtual machines on top of it. Very pleased with this PC Power & Cooling / Silencer / 750-Watt (a new Ultra 650 Lifetime couldn't even start up this new machine; this power supply doesn't even breath hard). Single rail with high amps must be the key. It is also very, very, very quiet; almost silent! Now, if I just had equally silent case fans and video card fans . . .
Great so far!

I ordered this @ 8:35am on a thursday and got it at 1:30pm Friday. Just hooked it up. It is extremely quite. I can hardly hear my computer running anymore. My other PSU was 6 years old, so I guess it was about due to die. So far so good. This has really long cables, I have a really tall case and these cables are even too long, so that is a plus. I have enough plugs for future upgrades, i'm satisfied.
What to say.

This this was perfect for about the first 4 days that I owned it then things took a turn for the worst. I had my computer hooked up to a surge protector and during a lightning storm the power went out. The PSU lost power and failed to restart. The only good news is the company is replacing it at no cost to me other than shipping. They are very easy to work with, just a little slow with the shipping.

I have 16 of these in various colors. all arrived in working order and are running 24/7 loads with at least 450w on them. no problems, ever. 2 by gtx 295 full speed folding@home (580w)= totally stable. i know someone with 3 9800gx2's on one of these-again no problems. voltages are right on even when power draw is high.
1 12V rail = no balancing.
the only theoretical drawback-it's not modular. if you spend a few minutes you can get the cables tucked away nicely, tho.
check out atlasfolding(dot)com to see what we've done with these-you'll see them in the racks.
