This card is fast, efficient and FPS 60+
I often read reviews of video cards wherein the writer of the review is critical of a video card which is undeserved. The criticism should be leveled at that person's own rig for being inadequate or faulty. This card is excellent. It handles all the latest top tier games with ease and efficiency. I heartily and faithfully recommend this card to anyone with the rig to actually support it.

XFX Radeon HD 7970 DD
No installation issues, no stability issues, no performance issues. Will be looking to pick up another when I can find as good a deal as I got this time for X-Fire performance. Make sure you have room in your case, this is a big card.

Terrible cooling in tight space
got 2 for bitcoin mining Was able to OC them both to around 1040-1140mhz core speed. One card fan grating sound at high speeds, goes away after a while. Other card card has high pitched coil whine, which either went away over time or don't notice anymore due to the fans running at full blast from heat. If you have a tight case, or have multiple cards stacked together where you don't have space below each card for airflow, the card WILL overheat and thermal throttle at 97c and repeatedly underclock down to 500mhz and gyrate back up to avoid thermal overload. also completely incapable of underclocking memory below 1300mhz, no matter the core speed. Ticket open with xfxsupport website about the overheat issue. 2 days no response :( tl;dr cards mostly fine with enough space between them if not stacked. also loud. saved about $60 compared to other cards + lifetime warranty. Was it worth it? Leaning towards no.

Great Card
I picked up this card last year, during the black Friday deal for 370 + HST. This card is absolutely amazing. It runs everything on the highest setting, including Crysis 3. Yea! I only took off a star because it starts to heat up to 80 degrees celcius, which is not too bad, however, with dual fans it should stay lower. Will definitely pick up another one for crossfire when the price goes that low again. Very satisfied with this card.
