I am so happy with my TIVO. Charter did not offer it here, so I had to purchase the TIVO myself and then they could provide the cable card. I love being able to record 2 shows and watch a 3rd at the same time. Once you have it figured out, it is quite simple. |

I think they released this product before it was ready. I had to return the first one (still waiting on the replacement) because the tuners kept locking up. TiVo support told me that it was a common problem. The link to Netflix is awesome and works really well, though. And it's nice to occasionally purchase TV shows from Amazon. TiVo Desktop function still won't work either - hope it was just a bad unit. Over all, it really seems like they pushed it through without debugging it well - even some of the menus are quirky, acting like they're ready for input and then rearranging themselves. I guess having TiVo is like being married - I love it and hate it at the same time. |

3 things
1st make sure you activate and then update several times. 2nd its great to have basic cable, still waiting on comcast to iron out there issues with installing a cablecard to decode the Digital channels, sub-contractors what you gonna do. 3rd and most important have patience it does work |
