Great WebCam
Wanted a camera and microphone for my Dad so he could talk via video calls. Easy to set up, great picture, sound. I really wish I had bought one for myself - it beats my ms on all fronts - well worth buying

easy set up
the instillation was easy and fast, great sound and picture. It was a great upgrade from my last webcam. It attaches nicely to the computer screen without marking it. For the price, I think this is a great product.

Good Price
Had some capatability issues after updating software during installation. However, basic functionality is good. The bells and whistle software doesn't work well on my computer.

Purchased this one to replace an intel that could no longer use with windows 7. This logitech makes the intel and some others I have had, sorta like a volkswagon compared to a ferrari.

Still an industry standard!
I originally chose this webcam for use by our ADP (Adult Degree Program) offices as they started using Elluminate and Skype. It has the features, especially the automatic light adjustment, that I needed for beginning users. The Zeiss lens and speaker pickup are also good. I would still recommend the QuickCam Pro 9000 for single users up to about three people at a location.

Works like a pro
replaced an older logitech webcam because focus was going bad. The Pro 9000 is very clear and sharp. Works with Skype as well as standalone. Works under Vista as well as Mandriva, Ubuntu, Knoppix and SystemRescue.
