Who needs active noise cancellation!
I bought these because I was looking for ambient noise reduction and decent sound quality; they deliver both more than adequately. The only possible downside is they are a bit snug if I wear them for long periods (or, my head is a bit big...). All in all, I am very happy with this purchase.

excellent studio headphones
Excellent headphones. I use them for some DJ'ing and to listen to music while I program. Excellent passive noise cancellation, excellent sound, and comfortable for very long sessions of use. Lots of ear room inside headphones. Only problem is they are really big, and somewhat heavy. Also there aren't really any extras in the box. Recommend to anyone.
