Fixed the problem
I needed a USB port add-on for my laptop as the ports randomly fail and shut down due to the age and condition. The install was easy and simple. Though I noticed some slight lag at times, it could be due to the age of the laptop. Still, it fixed my USB problem and i'm happy with it so far.
