Solid construction, works great
Great little external hard drive case. Case holds hard drive securely, but it would be easy to switch out hard drives if necessary. Blue LED shows when hard drive is on and active. Comes with double USB cable, but one USB plugged in seems to work fine. Having a good micro phillips screwdriver is helpful for assembly, as the included screwdriver is pretty useless.

Perfect Solution
I bought this to be able to continue to use the hard drive out of a dead laptop and not lose the pictures on it. Installed the hard drive and it connected right up when it was plugged in to the computer. No problems fitting the HD and the little tiny screws many people complain about were fine. I just used a real screwdriver and not the one that comes with the case.

Resurrected a dead 2.5'' drive!
Was a great replacement for a case that went bad. I paid about 60 dollars for the old drive that went dead and was able to swap the hard drive from the old case to this one! Works fine, looks fine. Nice soft case that comes with it and it uses a standard USB connector.

Great for the money
Low price attracted me to this item. The only complaint I had is that it the microscopic screws that came with the unit didn't line up well with the interface. And those are the only two screws that came with the unit. Once assembled, it worked as advertised.

Works fine
It's was quick and easy to install. I had an old laptop that I took the drive out from with Vista. Had an issue with windows 7 not recognizing it but got around it by plugging into an XP first. Once I did that it worked in windows 7. It has been working just great so far.

Good value
When my laptop bit the dust the hard drive was still functional so I pulled it and put it in this case that came with the USB cable and now I have an external drive that I use for backs and transferring large files!

Excellent External Enclosure!
Perfect enclosure for my wife's laptop's Hard Drive. The laptop may be dead, but the hard drive is still good. Now with this, got all the info that was on it and is now an additional, portable (with care) external hard drive!
