ASUS quality no doudt. Was eay set up out of the box. Light wieght, sturdy, doesn't feel as if will break when tucked into a backpack.

Great Price but Lightweight Case

I purchased for an aunt. The first thing I noticed out of the box was it looked flimsy. Hopefully it will hold up for her. Touch and feel of keyboard was gererally good compared to most entry level laptops. Performance was good too for the time I had it. It did not have alot of bloatware on it so that was nice. Removed trial virus protect for a free quality offering. Liked that it prompted for creating restore disks and ISO's. This is Windows 7, and a similar Windows 8 machine did not give me the option. I will post more when she give me some feedback.

Review of ASUS 454C-TB31

Seems to be a solid, well-made product. Only used it a few hours, seems to be working well. Nice to have a full-featured keyboard. Battery life only seems to be about 3 hours. Maybe an after market battery offers more longevity.

Awesome Bang-for-the-Buck!

We bought this to primarily run Power Point presentations at church, but this laptop is surprisingly capable of doing much more. I wasn't expecting a whole lot of performance, but doing some lighter video conversions and editing has proven to work quite well. Overall, I'm very, very pleased.

Great Laptop

We replaced our desktop computer with this laptop. We have been using it for one month. I works well and integrates well with peripherals. The only negative I have is only 2 USB ports. I can remedy this with a USB hub. Very happy with the purchase.

Great product!

Excellent product for the price. This is a machine for office work and no more. It only has a i3 CPU and a 5400rpm hard drive. There is nothing better for a price. If you want something for gaming, AutoCAD or Photoshop then you are in the wrong price range. And like any laptop in this price range I would swap the hard drive for a faster one and call it a day...

Value for Money

This unit come up from the box nicely. Feels good and easy to operate. It takes a while to start but the instant resume somehow counter the slow start-up from the regular Hard Drive. I like the unit in general use. Not for gaming or editing. Word processing and internet browsing are surely no problem.

Pretty nice laptop for the price

At first I thought this was a Quad core processor but turns out it is Dual Core. Regardless, it still performs well and for general internet surfing and multimedia usage this unit suffices. I really like the design and features. The Widescreen LED is picture perfect. Strong laptop for the money!

Never a problem with ASUS

Recently bought this for my son, and it works fantastic. Easy to set up and get going, without a lot of bloatware. ASUS warranty also the best, and reliability one of the best also. This is the second ASUS we have purchased, with the other being an AMD E-350 model. No problems with either of them.
