Great Touchscreen
I have had four other touchscreens. It is amazing how the price has come. Planar is an excellent screen and an excellent value. Setup is straightforward. Use the USB connection if possible. I had a little problem, contacted Planar support and they picked up on the first ring. They solved the problem in thirty seconds. Great monitor, great company.

Clean Environment HMI
Using this for an HMI in a clean room. Much less expensive than indstrial touchscreens, but this is almost an 'office' type environment or better. The price allowed us to go with a much larger display at a lower cost compared to industrial products.

Great product...does the job well
I purchased this for my Chiropractic clinic to update my patients electronic medical records at time of treatment. Set up was difficult initially because no linux drivers were available on the Planar website. Works well with windows XP. It is a stable base, and the VESA mount on the back allows me to mount a slim EEE PC box on it. I've been using it for 3 months, and will purchase another one when it is needed in my clinic. Customer service from planar is excellent. I highly recommend this product.

Excellent performance compared to the other 17'' touchscreen we have used in the past. Very precise touchpoints and fairly durable design. For the cost, this is the best 17'' touchscreen we've found.
