Badass but software is glitchy
This unit is great except for the iffy software that comes with it. Pain in the rear to program channels, sometimes channels don't work, but it's good.

Works Well with Win 7
Used in laptop (dual core processor) which boots to either vista basic or win 7 RC. In vista basic, used latest Avermedia software- it works but is kinda clunky, and program guide is pretty much useless. In win 7 with media center, it works quite well. Sensitivity is decent. It gets almost as many channels as my HDTV when connected to a rooftop antenna. Included antenna is a joke. In a strong signal area, rabbit ears should suffice.

Better than expected for the $
I really didn't expect a whole lot from such a small TV card. I have two PC desktops with the Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-1800 MCE pci cards so I'm spoiled. BUT!! This little USB device works very well indeed on a notebook as long as you have the antenna where it gets unobstructed signals. I admit I need to upgrade the antenna that ships with it because it is puny. I found it works just fine if I put it up as high as the cable allows and its not being blocked by walls et cetera. Its like the same rules apply to it that apply to positioning the antennas for your wireless 802.11g router. The program that comes with it is pretty good too providing a user friendly interface, lots of options, and the channel scanner works great(similar to Windows Media Center). It is worth the money. I took a chance on buying this one and it payed off! In summary: easy to use and install, affordable, works great. The antenna is the only issue here so how it works in a given location will depend on this. I love it.

Works just fine
Installation was a little confusing, but fast. Product works well. I'd recommend hooking up some old rabbit ears for better reception, but it depends on your location.

Good product, serve the purpose well
I read about the ATSC tuner for pc and found this one to be the best to fit my budget. Indeed it works well and the picture quality was remarkable, so much better than my old analog tuner for pc (AverMedia ultraTV USB300). But the included antenna was not good. I ordered a portable antenna (Artec) and it works well.
