This joy stick is well worth its money and comes with many features. It plays with both new and old games inculeding flight simulator(s). The force feed back can get tiring sometimes so you might want to turn the power down on the applacation that comes with it. although requireing extra power for force feed back you do NOT need an outlet to use it(there just would not be force feed back. i use the programable buttons al the time and think that every if you only want to play alittle here and there this is a great item.
