Why do you care? it comes with starter ink. If you really need to know search it on hp's home page

Not necessarily a computer, but it needs to be connected to something, via USB, so that it is able to get the print request.

uh yea. all inkjet printer do, it may be manual (you may have to flip the page

I have been an HP man for 4 years. It,s a psc1350v all-in-one. I've had some problems with it such as updated drivers, upgrading my Mac to Tiger It,s getting old and I was wondering if you could prorate my printer to upgrade to a printer that has the power to handle the constant changes in our field.Thanks for your time, Richard

Yes, most printers print out words, if they do not print out words, that would most likely mean the printer doesn't work.
