The best disc printer your going to find for the money. That said, they really need to catch up with the times. I bought this while running Vista Ult 64bit. Guess what, no 64 bit drivers! Really! Isn't just about everyone with a new machine running Vista or Win 7 running 64bit?!? Anyway...So it got shelved because I was not going to reload windows for a printer. Now I am running Win 7 64 bit. Still no drivers not even for Win 7. However, using the new XP mode in Win 7, I was able to load the XP mode 32bit drivers and port it to my desktop. Shows an error under device manager but works great. So my opinion is great printer only if you are running 32 bit OS or Wind 7. They REALLY need to make 64 bit drivers. I have had mine for 7 months now and still no drivers!

This printer was missing the installation CD, the printed manual, and a blank CD (there were supposed to be 3, but only 2 were shipped). I see other buyers have had similar problems, so not sure why this is a recurring problem. The printer is somewhat pricey, but since it does the job, I can't complain too much. the design software could be better, but it meets the needs of entry-level disc design.

Negative points first, unfortunately...the product didn't come with an installation CD as the package stated. No problem, downloaded it from their website. Did the install according to the directions, but it took two tries before the device was recognized.
Using it was VERY easy. I tried the included software (downloaded); to me it wasn't very user-friendly...maybe it's just the learning curve...and the print quality wasn't that great either. I used a third party program and was extremely pleased with the results; the discs print very quickly and the results look very professional. I'd like to see the price come down on this a bit since it's just a dedicated printer and not an all-in-one, but overall I think it's a great effort on DYMO's part and it's a great product. Well worth the investment!

I have been using this product for several months now and I have not had any of the problems the other guys have had. My CD/DVD prints with exceptional quality in normal mode and even better quality in highest quality setting. I would recommend this product to anybody who does video editing and wants a professional label.

The software interface is not bad but the quality of the printing is not very good. I almost feel that making it look like the machine prints high quality is a gross misrepresentation.
