Excellent but odd installation

This disk is physically very small. I had to secure it in an odd fashion (on an angle) inside my computer case. I could not put screws on both sides: the disk was too small and would not reach the other side. However, it does seem to be very snappy. Loving it as my boot drive.

You get what you pay for

I recently purchased a different SanDisk SSD. I loved it. When I did another computer build I meant to get the same one but ordered this one instead. Just as good. I am a huge fan of SSDs and SanDisk does a great job. I'll be getting more.

first time I have purchased SDD. I downloaded a clone program and using a disk replicator was able to clone Hard Drive to SSD in about 45 mins. Took out old drive and installed SSD. Only problem was could get this drive to connect to internal pins TILL I FIGURED OUT WHAT THE SPACER WAS FOR. DUH!!! Turn on 6 year old Dell 630 and it loaded XP and programs lightning fast, Disk access is instantaneous, What a difference Great products

Replaced Old Drive - New Lease on Life for Laptop

This purchase put more life into an old Dell D630. The disk seems fully compatible except that it is thinner than the disk it replaced. I was careful with installation but am still concerned that it might shake loose. We'll see. All the superlatives are true -- the machine is quite reasonable as a software development and presentation machine six years into its life thanks to this upgrade.

Good buy but wait for specials.

If you have large files and programs installed on your disk, my advice is buy a larger SSD Disk to prevent problems installing a large system.

This is a great drive

I installed this drive in a 2010 Macbook Pro a few weeks ago and it's breathed new life in to that machine. I'm glad I decided to do this instead of buying a whole new machine. The drive was packaged well, and in good condition. Did not run into any issues installing the drive or the OS. It was definitely worth the price.

Product Constuction is very cheap

just a heads up this drive is so cheaply built I was not impressed the construction of the drive is very light weight the connection ports are cheap also the biggest disappointment yet is the speed my god did I install a SSD or a 5200rpm drive like really

Works reliably despite quality problem

Bought as a dedicated boot drive & works well. Installation was made unnecessarily difficult by the SATA connector: none of the SATA cables I inserted would lock into place. Eventually, I pressed in as far as I could. The connection had been made, but any light tap on the cable when working inside the case will disconnect it.

Nice SSD But -

No complaints about the performance. Have had about a month and it has performed flawlessly. Be advised that no cables or hardware are included. If you plan to install in a desktop as your primary HD you will need additional hardware. Was not a problem for me but just so you are aware.
