Replaced two older video cards (AGP and PCI) on my older model Pentium 4 PC (Windows XP) with this one card. The DVI output went to my 1680x1050 LCD display and the VGA output to my 1024x768 second monitor. (Appears the VGA output could go to 1280x1024 if my monitor supported it). Only thing I had to do was BIOS setup the first time to tell the computer to use the AGP card as default. My Windows desktop is extended across both monitors (different content in each display, not mirrored) Looks great, and a fantastic value!

Great card for the money. When I purchased this card all of the reviews were 5 stars out of 5 except for one. I am very surprsied at the recent batch of bad reviews. I think this card is great. I got in 3 days (thanks to tiger) and threw it in my dual boot comp with absolutely no problems in windows xp or ubuntu linux. The only thing is that the installation was a little bit quarky on the xp side but I suspect that it was because I put the CD in the second of my two CD drives. On ubuntu after searching the compiz forum for how to set up the driver I was able to get compiz fusion to work!! (which is totally awesome). Massive improvement in general from my onboard video especially in most 3d games and sound visualizers and stuff. I haven't tried any new games yet but I plan on playing my old Need For Speed games with full graphics judging by it's performance in linux.

it is a good card and i am using it on a monitor from the late 90s that is lcd!. if there are bad reviews its only because someone had a bad card and im sure that happens from time to time.

Worthless piece of junk. The card memory was bad. The picture was trashed. NO USE. Will return to Tiger. Do NOT recommend.

I recommend this card to upgrade an older vga output board. I upgraded my vga monitor to an lcd monitor and found a subtle wave in the backround. I installed this card and used the dvi connection and the differance was impressive. LCD monitors perform much better using a DVI connection. Excellent value if your not a gamer.
