Works in Windows 7
Works in Windows 7 64 bit, but not in Windows 8 64 bit. Sound is great, and it's a well made product.

Great SPDIF output for HTPC
Building a cheap HTPC, and chose this card. Other reviews showed it was good quality. I get full 5.1 sound for HD channels.

Works perfect!
Bought this since my on board sound stopped working. Great affordable sound card easy setup and drivers updated without a hitch. Recommend this to anyone who needs an upgrade or replacement sound board.

Provides just what I needed
I recently upgraded my older system to Windows 7, and found the on-board sound card has no Win7 drivers. While I have an available PCI slot, the heat sink of my add-on video card is so large as to block access to the slot. Luckily, the system was one of the first to include a PCI-Express slot. While it costs a bit more than a standard PCI card, the sound quality is excellent, especially on my ancient speakers - I can only imagine how it would do with a full 5.1 set-up. Well worth the price.
