Good and bad experiences

I bought this refurbished laptop primarily because of the good reviews, including one that had bought 10 of them. Mine didn't last 24 hrs before it had a fatal hardware crash. But I've got to give great kudos to this company. I spoke to them after 5PM, got shipping labels to return the bad one, got another one ordered. When UPS came to pick up the bad one the very next day, they had my new one on the truck! GREAT service, by the way, the second one has been flawless, had it running constantly for weeks now.

Great Deal on a Powerful Refurb

This is a great laptop, although it's a little big if you're concerned about size. It's powerful enough to run most everything I need to (I'm not a heavy gamer). All thing considered, a great buy.

Excellent value

I've never purchased a refurbished product until I saw this laptop. This laptop is an excellent value for the money spent. It performs well and has a nice bright screen. I have had no problems with it what so ever. Good choice!

Good Product... Easy fix with Battery

So the screen is great! The CPU is speedy. When I got the unit it wouldn't charge a bit... Before calling these guys I looked at the system and noticed that one of the Battery hatches wasn't locked. I closed and it charged and have no problems since.

Not what I was expecting

I received this laptop, excited to charge it up and get started. But going from page to page took forever. Close to a minute on some pages. I was expecting a better product but did not get it so I returned it. The return process was simple and I was refunded my money minus, but had to pay to ship it back.

Battery Dead

We need to bought a new battery, but right now is working good.

Good features

I have always had a Toshiba. Replaced a much older model that I owned. This one is a workhorse. Mostly for travel, email and music, and videos. It is a bit large for portability but it still fits in my Zero briefcase. All functions work fine.

Bought 15 of these, All worked Perfect!

I'm sorry to hear a few people had issues with these. I've bough a bunch and all were great except one had to be reloaded because the factory didn't complete the re-imaging process correctly. A normal user would have been needed to return it, but I was lucky enough to have another one here to clone. One thing I noticed is that the battery will need to charge for a good 10+ hours without the system on before it reaches a full charge, so be patient. It will eventually charge and the charge lasts a very long time. The unit is very nice looking, will actually play games very smoothly (I ran Team Fortress 2 with it and it was smooth as glass). It's light, thin and seems durable. I wouldn't hesitate to buy more. Good luck!

Does not Work

Great product when it is working. Only worked half a day before the harddrive died and laptop would not boot. Laptop was shipped to Toshiba Depot Center for repairs under 90 day warranty and returned with new components, parts and harddrive was replaced. Upon return,laptop booted up fine, worked for about 15-30 minutes and again crashed with no warning and would not reboot unless I upplugged the ac adapter and removed the battery. I am now sending the laptop back to depot center for a second repair. I would recommend staying away from this product as I have had it for over 2 weeks and have been able to use for a total of about 5 hours.
