Dead after seven months of home use. Working with the manufacturer to get a replacement.
I picked this burner up at the store took it home, installed it in about 10 mins and was burning in no time, no problems at all. I have not used the lightscribe yet but just straight burning is flawless, nero 7 works great no issues at all!
Got mine ups with pack of discs.Drive worked fine ,Nero ware would stick they had FREE update on web to fix the problem.AOpen also has FREE update firmware for drive. For the price you can't beat it.Burns super fast.
This product arrived by UPS. The package was so hot when I received it, I knew there would be problems, and sure enough.
I bought a package of 15 DVD+R blank disks. Out of 15 disk, I made 13 coasters and two viewable disks.
The included software ''NERO Essentials'' stinks. They want you to pay for the upgrade to their current software. The software included doesn't work.
As for the DVD burner itself, I installed the latest version of EZ Creator (ROXIO). It did the same thing - burned about 10% of the DVD and then quit.
RUN AND RUN fast from this product.
Drive would not burn CD's or DVD's. Went out and bought an LG drive that works flawlessly. Stay away from AOpen because it is a terrible brand.
