ORDERED THIS FOR SELF AND IT WORKED RIGHT OUT OF BOX NO SOFTWARE NEEDED HOT KEYS WORK FINE WITH WINDOWS 7 JUST DOUBLE TAP SCROLL LOCK KEY OR NUMBER LOCK KEY AND YOUR SWITCHED OVER THAT EASY ONLY THING IS TO LISTEN TO MUSIC ON OTHER WHILE WORKING ON ONE YOU NEED TO SWITCH AROUND THE AUDIO CABLES

Better than expected!!!

I tried other KVM switchers. This unit interfaced with my new Windows 8 computer and my old Windows XP - and did it with a wireless keyboard and mouse. Wish the connections didn't come out the front so it sits better behind the computer. Still can't get hotkeys to work and manual is of no help. Priced very reasonable.

Works fine Good value

Shipped fast, this company never fails me. The unit is kinda light so the cables want to put it where they want, but a bit of velcro stopped that. Worked great right out of the box. I thought I had an issue with the sound, but found I had reversed the 1-2 so easy fix.

Super quick delivery and a great product. I'm thinking of buying a second one for another system I'm setting up. Very quick to set-up and the LED indicator makes it great for anyone to use.

Product was received in a timely manner. Set up was easy, and the switch works great. It is small enough that concealing it in my desk was easy. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a simple and effective 2 port KVM switch. Other retailers sell the model without the Audio for the same price.

Not for Linux

This KVM cannot maintain video settings when booting to second computer. Second boot computer routinely ends up with an incorrect setting.

love these things

this is the 4th one of these i have bought - one was bad from the box but was quickly replaced - the replacement and the others work great - it would be nice if it didn't have wires coming out of all 4 sides and i would like to have more hotkey options - but considering price and performance and features this is well worth it - i will continue to buy these for my customers

Im impressed

This works great. I am running ubuntu linuz and windows 7 and have had no problems at all. It worked on both systems out of the box. Pros: Easy switching, audio ports are nice. Con: The location of cables. they come out of all sides making it hard to place on a desk neatly.
