brews lukewarm coffee
This is my second unit. The first coffeemaker looked great but I returned it for a replacement because no matter how many cups I brewed or the settings I used, the fresh coffee was just lukewarm and tasted weaker than when I brewed the same amount of coffee in another coffeemaker. The replacement unit performs similarly; it brews at an unsatisfactorily low temperature, but the thermal carafe does succeed in keeping the coffee fairly warm for several hours. I haven't tried the self-cleaning feature yet.

Makes great coffee; carafe isn't the best
I'm impressed with the quality of the coffee as compared to my old Mr. Coffee with thermal carafe. However, though the thermal carafe on the Cuisinart is better (keeps coffee hot for several hours), it's not as good as the higher end Cuisinart carafes which can give you hot or very warm coffee as much as a day later.

Exactly what I had in mind
Works well. I wanted a coffee maker to program for early morning ready made coffee. The refurbished unit I purchased was a great deal and I am very pleased.

excellent coffee maker for the price
i have this for about few weeks and so far has been great. it is very easy to use with great coffee. even though bought it refurbished but some how looks brand new.

Great buy
Love this coffee pot so much, when I saw this deal bought this one for backup. If the one I have goes out I'm ready.(the one I have now is same model)It's 5 years old.

Just What I Needed
Upon receiving, I did not realize they had the water filter, coffee filters inside the pot, so I made a pot of hot water to test the unit, only to find that the items were inside the pot (lol). I have not used the programming features yet, and it did take some effort adjusting the strength of the brew, but all in all I am glad I made the purchase even though I was reluctant in buying a refurbished item. While I have not had the unit all that long, I am hopeful that it will last. I hope this review is helpful to others who may be on the fence. While there are a few things that could be improved, all and all, none are big deals that would prevent this from being a good purchase.

Filling maker can be a mess
