Cheap tablet with a few nice surprises
The unit arrived non-functional. All apps would launch then immediately quit. I contacted Visual Land and they promptly replaced it with a working unit. Initial impressions is that it is slow, and the display frequently doesn't recognize touches. You have to press pretty hard to get reliable use. Screen quality is mediocre to poor. Scrolling the browser window is very slow. Camera is terrible. Included market - getjar (no, it won't use the google market) doesn't have many apps and frequently wouldn't install apps properly. Installed 1mobile market and that worked better. Surprising feature: HDMI output is great. I was also able to use the included USB adapter cable to hook up a USB keyboard and mouse, and poof - instant workstation. Also of note is that I just found out that it came rooted from the factory.
