It does what it says on the box

Plugged it in in accordance with the instructions and it connected to my network straight away and my TV, BD Player and satellite receiver all connected to the Internet without problems. Have done firmware updates on all AV devices through the bridge and they have all worked as advertised. My only issue with this product is the price as it could be a bit cheaper, maybe at the same price point as a router; it's the same thing after all.

Easy Peasy

Simple, direct instructions make set up easy. Have had no issues, works great extending our home network outside onto our patio and beyond. The ability to customize naming the device and entering your own security code is a plus.

Check your router compatibilty!!

Product works Great!! But only after a lengthy session with the tech people, only to find that the router from my cable provider is not compatible with the AV3000. Customer service was tremendous. I only wish my Cable Provider tech was as qualified!! Just a heads-up to assist purchasers of the AV3000.

My Bad

So, I called customer service to be sure I would get the right equipment to meet my needs for a wireless print server. The guy recommended this piece if I had an ethernet port on my color laser printer as it would both fill that need (made more sense with wireless print servers being phased out and going up in price) as well as providing an extension of our wireless signal so my wife wouldn't keep complaining about her signal on the iPad in our bedroom. Turns out that I forgot that our printer actually didn't have an ethernet connection on it - just a hole where it would be if there was one on the card... So, while I like the piece and think it would have been a perfect fit, I was obviously too lazy to go double-check the printer before ordering. Good news is that it is taking care of the signal loss around the house and I'm not hearing about that any longer.

Excellent product and support

I purchased this bridge to allow me to connect my Blu-Ray player (the manufacturer's specific wireless dongle cost the same and only works for the Blu-Ray. I figured this would also allow me to connect my game consoles and in turn give me a better connection than the wireless one they were getting. Once it was initially setup and connected, it worked great for a day. Then it lost the connection. Set it up again and it lost the connection the same day. Called tech support and found the product gets set to a specific channel. My wireless modem was set to

Connection keeps dropping

When connected it is good, unfortunately it keeps dropping the connection and has to be reset every other day. Not recommended.

Sorry

Does not work. . Hope to get their help, but I don't think they can help. It won't work with PS3, takes over the wireless and kills my connection on all other devices. I had to delete the connection and use the original and do away with the AV.

Works like a charm

I bought this Bridge to extend my wireless network and plug in my home theater, media center, dvd player, kids Wii in the basement. Super simple set up as in 1 2 3. Once configured, you just plug it in where you need it and you are off.
