Lifesmart Heater

Works well and as advertised. The only problem I have with the heater is that it does not memorize the temperature setting, so I have to change the desired temperature every time I turn it on. My old Lasko ceramic heater memorizes the set temperature.

Nice for the price

These types of Infared heaters were over $300 18 months ago , now you can get one at a reasonable price. I wanted the heater for one major feature , the remote control so I can turn it on or off from my easy chair. The remote had problems in the battery compartment hold the AAA's in place . I called Lifesmart and they sent me a new one express mail in just a few days.

Good Heater

It can heat a room of size like 12'x10', butnot really 50'x30' (may be long term operation will be able to heat the room. My heater did not come with a remote. I just realized when I am about to write this review. In my basement, I keep it close to my legs to get most out of it. I will call the manufacturer for the remote. Generally satisfied, with the product.

remote did not work .

what a cheap made heater . $119.99 and free shipping is what i paid . the remote did not work right out of the box . on the temp. setting , it does not shut off when it hit's that set temp ,it just keeps runing. at least it is working , but who knows how long. i think it is not worth the money . it also uses of plenty of electric . i would not buy this brand again.

Good heater

Bit louder than I thought it would be. Heats well and looks good. Would be nice if it had a low setting for the fan, would cut the noise.

Great Heater !!

I purchased this heater to use in a 30 ft. class A RV. This is one of the best buys i have ever made. Excellent heater, which by itself, heats better and much more effeciently than two very nice ceramic heaters. It is saving me more than 30% on my electric heating bill every month. highly recomend!

Love This Heater

It is everything I hoped it would be. It works great in our basement and the thermostat is spot on. I would buy another one in the minute if I had a need for it.

My toaster gives out more heat

I had this product for about a month, where as I did not expect it to heat my hole place 540 square feet,I thought it could at least take some of the chill out. The only area that got heated was around the heater itself, also in the winter I normally have a 50 per month electric bill, it went up to $80.00 using this product. To better understand dedicated line it means not just the individual electric socket, but rather the entire line in your place. Yes it blew the circuits when I hooked up an additional heater although on a different socket. The cord itself is must to short, and no you can not use an extension cord. Also you can not use a power surge protector. Take a pass for even though it is inexpensive, still not worth the money. I have an old oil radiator heater that works better then this thing.

Arrived quickly and boxed well. Ran immediately and without reading instructions for basics. Instructions gave easy to understand features and use. Heats up quickly and nicely. A little more fan noise than another similar one I have from another manufacturer. I've already ordered a 2nd at a great sale price.

Never worked out of the box

I received this unit, within two days after the order, and that is where my happiness ended. When I took it out of the box and plugged it it, I immediately reeived an error on the LED - 'E1' , and did some research regarding the error and according to the large number of complaints, this was not an islated incident. So it is being returned.
