Works for me

I've been running this for about a month and have had zero issues. It can run all the games I wanted and is great for academic work. It is quiet (which is a blessing in dorms) and all-in-all a great deal.

Great Value

The machine plugs in and comes up without issue. Love the easy access featers in the front. Lenovo quality has improved soooo much over the years. Now it's my go-to brand. 12MB of memory and an I5 processor makes PhotoShop CS3 and LightRoom 3.6 run great. So far I'd recommend this. Want to look into upgrading the power supply to accommodate a high end graphics card and blue ray DVD player. Heard there was a proprietary connection. If that's the case, that will be my only complaint.

nice machine with a few quirks

Nice machine for home use. However, i wanted to upgrade graphics card for gameplay; and the power supply that comes with the system will not support most cards (only 208 watts). I went to upgrade the power supply (not a problem) only to find there is a proprietary plug that powers the colored lights on the case. I could cut and paste if i wanted, but really, why should i have to? I think this is a design flaw that should be fixed.

Great Machine

Some Minor Issues: 1. Converting to an x64 machine creates some software problems. Not all programs can make the change. 2. It would be nice if the hard drive cables were standard so that older units could be brought over.

Worked great for a few weeks.

Video card went bad after a few weeks. They sent a tech out in about a weeks time to replace motherboard. Then he had to come back 3-4 days later to replace the video card. Just doesn't work as well as it did upon delivery now. Also makes these awful beeps when you start it up because the MB serial numbers don't match the unit. Only way to fix this is to send back to warehouse and be without a computer for a few weeks.

Very impressed!

After a month of heavy use, I have to say I'm impressed. My sole gripe is the lack of a DVI input for using the awesome onboard graphics. Nothing a new monitor can't fix. For now, I use a card. The machine is quiet and has taken my gaming, albeit casual, to a new level. Surprised by the ''turbo'' button on top, something to do with overclocking the CPU. Wireless reception is top-notch. Also just learned Lenovo is building a U.S.-based manufacturing plant, so I am proud to support the company.
