Could not get it to work on my new Win8 machine
Couldn't download software. My new Win8 laptop could not recognize the device. Oh well. Glad others had better luck.

Does the job!
Needed this to fix one of my client's all-in-one desktops that had no available pcie slots. Plugged it in, Windows 7 recognized it right away and the computer was back online in a few minutes. The price is also very good compared to other similar adapters.

3rd one I have bough
The software was a pain to get it to work, Drivers hard to install. It took many tries but driver manager helped. I get 32 megs access through them. No problem there.

fixed my network problems
Had a unit (HP) that the network port would not work. Replaced with this and had no more problems.
