Good Product and Great Price
Like the Review by PapaPopup - I couldn't find only a 50mm fan anywhere, I didn't need the heat sink. I just screwed the fan off and screwed it to the old heat sink since the heatsink had a temperature wires attach to it. Plenty of air movement, almost silent, and the price was right. This fan was for a client's Acer G600 PIII Unix server. It works just fine.

Buyer Beware!
This thing is a piece of garbage (literally, I just threw it away)! The entire heatsink is made of aluminum, no copper base to adequately transfer heat up through the fins. The fan itself is not much larger than a half dollar and, though it is quiet, does not have adequate airflow. I do not have my CPU overclocked, and it was up to 63C in just a few minutes under no load whatsoeevr. Purchase the Rosewill Socket A fan if you can find it. Just as quiet, a MUCH larger fan, and a great heatsink to go with it.

50mm Fan is excellent
I needed a 50mm fan for my Sabertooth P67 and this seemed like a logical choice. Very pleased with the speed and quietness of the fan, works great.

It's a fan - it's quiet, it blows.
I couldn't find only a 50mm fan anywhere, I didn't need the heat sink. I just screwed the fan off and screwed it to the old heat sink since the sink was sorta welded to the cpu. Plenty of air movement, almost silent, and the price was right. This will keep the old machine running a few more years.

Watch out
The clip is made out of metal so thin that it bent badly while I was trying to mount it. It also broke or sliced off one of the fingers on the side of my mount because it was so thin. I ended up having to use the clip from another old heat sink. The old clip had three square holders on each end, so it worked.

Quiet
Purchased to replace old noisy fan in 10-year-old computer. Intel Celeron 1.2 Ghz. Was going to use old heat sink, which was welded to cpu plate with dried heat sink paste, but then it popped off. Had to use old clip to fasten new heat sink to cpu. Powered up immediately. Much quieter than old fan, although I wouldn't say whisper-quiet.

Great Deal
Unfortunately the fan will only work on Pentium 3 machines and definitely not a Dell computer either. The plug configuration is 4 pin on the Dell and 3 pin on the fan cooler.

a perfect fit
Cheap and quiet. Harder to take off the old fan than put on this new one. I was just trying to keep my dinosaur of a computer running but it had recently broken a fan blade. In a matter of minutes I went from noisy to ahhhhhh
