 Multi-Fan Controller for 3.5" Drive Bay
You want complete control over your case fan RPM's in order to get that perfect
balance of low noise and keeping components cool. But when you're gaming, and
your components start getting hot, isn't it good to know that your fans are
capable of moving as much air as possible? Most fan controllers won't even let
a fan spin at 100% of it's specified RPM even when the controller is turned
up to it's maximum. It's not unusual for power to get lost through the circuitry
of the controller and the resulting drop in voltage prevents your fans from
moving as much air as possible. This is why Ultra designed the new Multi-Fan
Controller from the ground up.
By thinking outside of the box, we've created a fan controller that not only
runs the fans from 0% to 100% of their rated speed, but also can run a fan more
silent than it's specification! The Ultra Fan Controller has four channels,
each capable of outputting between 6.5V and 13V. The controller fits in any
available external 3.5" bay and emits a subtle blue light from around each knob.
The controller uses standard 3-pin fan headers and even includes 3-pin extensions
so RPM's can be monitored by the motherboard and it's all backed by Ultra's
unparalleled 3 year warranty.

fit the bay nicely, but the dials weres tiff and it looked like it had super glue spilled on it. |

Just got one, controls 4 of my 6 fans perfectly. My case is about to take off when on max and silent as a mouse when minimized. could not be happier. blue lights are pretty cool. i agree that it's a bit expensive for its built and all, you know plastic, nothing fancy, just four knobs and bunch of cables but hey, it's a fan controller, not a luxury car. does the job, works well, looks quite good. i'm happy. |

Bought this for my NZXT Tempest case to control the main fans. No easy way to mount it in the 3.5 to 5 adapter as there are no pre drilled mounting holes. Guess I bite the bullet and buy a better one |

Hey. This fan controller is what it is. It could have a few more usless features, but if you want to add more air flow to your computer and you want a great price this one is for you. I've been using it on an artists computer for about a month now and its been working without any kind of failure. I would definitly recommend this fan controller. |

Well I made the mistake of buying fans which were rated at a very very high cfm and dB rating... needless to say I was dissapointed with one aspect of this fan controller, NO 4-PIN POWER CABLES !!!! Do NOT buy this fan controller unless you're using only 3-pin fans, or it will simply not work. Haven't found any converters yet on this site either, you have to shop elsewhere for them.
You will need a cable that converts between a 3-pin male connector and a 4-pin female connector in order to use 4-pin fans.
I feel ripped off personally, I've never seen 3-pin case fans before and of course this controller uses ONLY that, and gives no description of any of this ! |
