Good but then died!

It worked great for the first couple of weeks and then died on me. Won't even start up. Now I have to pay for fed ex to send it to texas for repair. I'm going to lose all my work and media. Oh Joy.

Nice machine

Needed a machine to render videos.What a difference from my XP with 3 gig of ram.What used to take an hour is now a few minutes. I use it pretty much all day every day and no problems at all. There are little to no extra Bus slots for additional cards and as one person had mentioned the fan blocks the 4th empty ram socket. The case is not a deluxe case but I do like the position of the flash card reader. All in all I am very pleased with it, the speed frees me up to do other things.

A fantastic deal at $839

Other sites were selling this computer for $999 and people were still loving it. I mean 12GB RAM, 3rd gen i7 and 2 GB graphics card. This computer has it all. I keep downloading games to see how this computer handles them, and it never disappoints. I would recommend this computer to anyone. It is a powerful machine for half the price of a MAC.

I got mostly what I wanted.

I had been looking at this computer for months and finally the time came that I was able to afford it. I purchased this computer the same week hurricane Sandy hit the east coast. Whenever I got it, I went in and did the initial setup and all that stuff. After the first reboot, the hard drive was dead. I talked to this company and they said they would replace it. I received my new one and this one is running great (except the hard drive). The hard drive is ticking and screeching already. I do not blame them for this I actually blame Acer and Seagate. Seagates hard drives have not been up to par for some time now and they seem to be a cheap alternative. This computer is perfect except for the terrible hard drive. Since I have gotten my computer, I have added a SAMSUNG 830 Series 2.5-Inch 128GB Solid State Drive, a Crucial 4 GB DDR3-1333 UDIMM 240 Pin Memory, and a Western Digital Green 2TB HDD. This computer runs perfectly now.

good but no 5.1 connection available

I bought this because I thought I could not build a new one for this price. I sort of wish I'd looked further. It's a fast computer, hdmi graphics are great, but there is no optical output for the audio. Touting as 5.1 is fraudulent. You have one line out for front speakers and the option to simulate surround sound. I haven't opened up yet, as I'm still performing the backups of OS & drivers. I know it's common now, but I prefer to have OS and driver disks and don't care for the tedium of uninstalling a bunch of 3rd party software, some of which is just junk.

Great Gaming PC!

This is my first gaming PC, and I am very happy with my purchase. It is very fast,quiet, a very nice processor, and extremely large storage with alot of memory. The graphics card is pretty good, performed alot better after I overclocked it. Plan on installing a 660 Ti though. With everything that you get with this PC, it is a great buy.

Had great expectations - no disappointment!

I am a computer user for 30 years. In course of those years I owned tens of machines. This Acer is just a pure workhorse: powerful, quick, quiet and a good deal to top it all.

Excellent Product from a great brand

Extremely fast shipping, zero issues with product. Huge storage capacity and a very nice processor. Only one thing if you happen to be a PC gamer and want to update the graphics card make sure to upgrade the power supply. 500w is kinda minimum.
