Good for Podcats
I have 3 Lyras and think they're great. I use them mainly to listen to audio news podcasts--so I a not into playlists management. I find the Lyra for the purpose for which I use it to be great: It's sturdy and compact the controls are easily accessible. The multiple directories let me separate news and feature programs (into FM and Voice files) and its size is ideal for use in public. The screen is a little small for photos and I've never used it for videos.

Worthless
I guess you get what you pay for but... the software for this thing is Bad. Poorly designed, buttons don't fit on screen, half the text on screen is missing, the interface is extremely buggy, and playlist management is worthless. Half the functions don't seem to work properly. And the sound is pretty poor when connecting it to my AUX in my car - even with a good cable. I wish I'd gone with a Sansa Clip again.
