Easy to set up on XP but the remote is unpredictable. Press 6 and a 7 appears on the screen. Increase volume and the program shuts down. Change the channel and the screen minimizes. Works well as long as the remote isn't used.

While this product offers some valuable functions, like pausing and recording live TV, the captured video is of very poor quality.
Even set on the highest quality the captured video is choppy, with blurring and overlapping in high motion scenes.
If you want to watch TV it's just alright, if you want to save your VHS tapes to DVD forget it, the quality just isn't good enough.
It also has some compatibility issues during playback in WMP with certain decoders installed.
Not only would I not buy it again, I am ready to throw mine in the garbage, since it can't be returned.
This was used on a desktop with an NVIDIA Geforce 7600 GPU, 3GHZ Pentium 4 CPU and 3GB of RAM.

Live in Des Moines, IA.. works great for what we use it for. Nice clean picture on most of the things we pick up. Price might be just a little high but when more HD and dig. hits, I am sure it will be a good deal.

This product had failed to work for me. I'm in the Los Angeles area and this product could not pick up any TV signals at all with the antenna. However, it did work with the cable TV signals, but partially, the picture was not that great and no HD channels. Also, it won't work with Windows Vista and I did not bother to look for the driver on the internet. Instead, I just returned the product for my refund.
What Is USB 2.0?
USB 1.1 was great when it was introduced almost a decade ago. But
the newer USB 2.0 transfers data dramatically faster - up to 40 times
quicker. Plus, USB 2.0 provides additional bandwidth for multimedia and
storage applications, which are growing larger every year. Also to your
advantage is the fact that USB 2.0 is forward and backward compatible with
USB 1.1, which means that cables and connectors made for the original USB
configuration will also work perfectly in a USB 2.0 port, though some newer
devices are specifically designed for USB 2.0. It is always a good
idea to verify the version of USB supported by each device you want to use.
Take
Your Home Movies Into The New Millennium With Video Capture!
Now we have DVD players, Digital Video Recorders (DVR), camera cellular
phones that record still and video images, home and office survelience cameras
and the list continues to grow. But with so many types of video recording
devices, how can we save it so that it isn't damaged, lost or simply fades
away?
