better, but not quite what i was hoping for, especially for the size. pretty good bass response, but an overall hollow sound. the tone adjustment makes nearly no difference, which is too bad since they could certainly profit from some equalization. they do work just fine, but i'm not wild about the sound. others may find the sound reproduction more agreeable. |

Excellent set of speakers. I was disappointed in that with my shelving setup the two were hard wired together making the setup complicated. I was expecting them to be connected by a pluggable cable. Another comment is that when they are turned on, but not off, the is a rather loud quick sound. One thing I might note is that the volume and tone knobs each have a position indent. Unfortunately they are hard to see so I put white paint in them making the positions easily visible. |

I am completely satisfied with these speakers. The sound is unbelieveable. Great clarity and plenty of volume. I read all of the reviews before deciding to make my purchase. I agree with all of the comments provided by those who gave this set high ratings. The sound quality far surpasses my big name surround sound system and over priced wave radio. Get these, you can't go wrong. |

Great product for the price but the only down fall is that they are like really tall for speakers....But i like the sound and base so great buy! |
