Download the audio drivers and there is a Dec 07 BIOS Flash update. Install was easy, ... but I was unaware none of the Intel retail desktop boards come with SLI bridge, so scalable link interface is not supported. *This was told to me by Intel support. Why have 3 PCI-E slots on this board? Should have done my homework.

Outstanding value ATX board. I bought mine to build an HTPC. Equipped with an E4500 Core Duo it has plenty of power. With 10 USB ports (4 internal) and 2 Firewire ports (1 internal) you get plenty of device connectivity both in back and in the front panel. The on-board audio is adequate for music and TV. Installation of mobo drivers was simple from the supplied disk, and updates should be applied from the Intel site to get the best audio quality. (The supplied disk driver has poor audio quality.) Like the other intel boards I have built with, this one appears to be easy to configure and performs well.
