works perfectly
works as designed. the only flaw is that the feet are very low, so if you are stacking the router on top of your tower it can get very hot.

No problems to date
Despite the experiences of other reviewers, it hasn't given me any problems to date. It's a simple basic router, no bells or whistles, and does what it is supposed to do, routing the signal to two other computers.

Cheap but not reliable
This router worked well for 3 months before it started dropping connections and needed to be rebooted 3-4 times a day. After a few more weeks, I threw it in the trash, where it filled the whole perfectly nicely between the orange peels and the pork chop bones.

Not so much
The reviews were mixes so I bit the bullet and bought one. Easy to setup out of the box, but almost instantly had slow-downs of massive proportions. Disabled every feature and its still slower than my old 802.11b and support is no help. TLRD.... Buy something else.

Works great
The router is easy to set up, flexible enough for an industrial application, and reliable.

Router is a Lemon
Dlink is usually know for some great home networking but unfortunately this router missed their quality standards. It's junk. I had nothing but problems since I hooked it up. It would freeze up several times a day. What I found out was that mine was a version B1 RevB and was notorious for locking up because of its low connection count limit, which all it took was opening two many webpages. Unfortunately Dlink has not updated it's firmware since 07' so the problem cannot be fixed. I also heard that a few report of problems caused by heat that would randomly drop connections. If you got a (version B1 revb 2.01 firmware) return it. It makes a better doorstop than a home router.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!
I've been a loyal D-Link customer for years, but even they can release a stinker every now and then and this one qualifies. This router is trash. Constant lock-ups, throttles my net speed, just basicly doesn't do what it's supposed to do. The D-Link DI-604 router I had before this one worked fine for years until a lightning storm took it out. I bought the 2310 since the 604 was discontinued and it was essentially the same. Worked fine for about 4 months then nothing but greif. Going to the support pages at D-Link didn't help either. The firmware was last updated in '07 and it seems that the company isn't supporting this product anymore. I'll still buy D-Link in the future since other products I've bought from them work great, but this model is a lemon. DO NOT BUY THIS.

Don't buy this product
Locks up every 5 minutes. You either need to reset, to wait for another 5 minutes for it to get its bearings. Terrible for surfing, or for doing just about anything. DON'T BUY THIS !! DON'T BUY THIS !! DON'T BUY THIS !!

Hangs the netwwork
We got this Router because our IP Phone service tech support suggested it would solve our soft phone quality and call drop issues. Not sure, if it did that, but it kept hanging our network connection to the Internet. We ended up having to take it out because of the disruption it caused.

Bad apple
Never worked and spent hours with multiple levels of tech support tryin to manipulate my software and hardware. These routers are 4 yrs old and have a 50-50 chance of working. D-Link is good manufacturer but these routers are not so good.
