Installation was a breeze, looks nice, keeps my HDD running smoothly at a cooler temp. The only downfalls to this item is that you have to install your HDD in the 5.25 bay, and that it wasn't free. Other than that, get one. or two. |

I purchased two of these for use with 1.5TB drives.
When I tried to install them the screw holes did NOT match up with the screw holes on the drives. This made them absolutely unusable.
Also, even if the drives did fit, they are so BIG that it would have been impossible to use two of them in the 5.25" drive cage in the computer. You cannot use them - except in the 5.25" slots, so that further defeated our use.
They were both shipped back to Tiger. |

Not being a computer hardware genius, I didnt realize that my case was considered tool less. Duhhh.
I finally made a couple of brackets and modified the original mounting bracket for my HD and It works great. I really like the lack of power consumption, and it is quiet. Have a small windmill on my CPU for a cooler in a tower and it works well with the HD cooler.
Greaat price and Guarantee and The shipping was awsome.

I was surprised to find such good quality and well thought out engineering. It fits well into a 5 1/4 inch bay, problematic if you only have a 3 1/5 inch bay to work with. High quality aluminum and cools extremely well, I installed it onto a already warm hard drive and it was cool by the time I installed it back into the case. Well worth twice the price! |
