Customer Reviews
Awesome Monitor!
One of the best gaming monitors around. Yes it's pricey, but games are running solid and smooth with this monitor. Blu-ray images looking magnificent. The 120Hz makes a huge comparison to my old monitor, and it's 3D ready!
Best Monitor I have seen
I was having a problem wth my system with 3D Bluray discs. I checked out a lot of monitors until I found the BenQ. I after I was up and running I was shocked at the presentation of the screen. I always thought my monitor was excellent until it sat next to this one. Where I thought the colors were true, in a side by side viewing it was claer that my monitor was tinted yellow. This shows perfect greys. If you work with photoshop or any color correction and editing program you need to have the best monitor before you can create the best image. This is the monitor for you.
Awesome monitor
It is a bit expensive but the quality is there. I looked for about 3 months and finally went with this one. 3D is awesome I use it on my games boardlands 2 rocks. I am running sli so not sure how a single card runs on it. But the 120 hz memes a huge difference I see stuff more clearly and better detail in the backs.
Expensive for a Reason
After getting my monitor out of the box and running some tests, I've got to say that this monitor is really something. There is very limited light bleed around the edges, but for TN displays that is something that is usually expected. Even for a 120hz display, the color quality is still very good. The stand is very solid and moves smoothly but also retains its position quite well when adjusted. Overall the entire monitor is very light compared to others, and features like the handle on the stand and the headphone rest are both great displays of common sense that most companies don't seem to have when making a gaming monitor. Basically, you get what you pay for, and this monitor is a perfect example. The 3d is fun, but definitely becomes problematic when you aren't playing a game that is certified for 3d by Nvidia.
Awesome Monitors At A Price
I bought three of these to create a NVD Surround System. These monitors themselves are excellent! The 3D functionality is something you have to experience to beleive. I don't have anything to compare them to, but they've definitely met my expectations. The 120Hz - 2ms response made a big difference in games. If you really want 3D, then spring for the ''XT'' version as the emitters are built in. I can't imagine trying to retrofit the ''T'' models with external emitters. I give them a 10 for performance and an 8 for price. $500 is a lot of money for this monitor. Note: if you plan on running 3 in surround make sure you have the horsepower for graphics. I have two 680s in SLI and I still have to lower settings in BF3. Add 3D and it's unplayable without lowering the settings to minimal. Some games are better, but a single 680 will not drive three of these monitors as the website suggest.
