Excellent Antenna

I've had it about a year now. I mounted it on a pole about 10 feet high in a campground I attend weekly. This thing is FANTASTIC!!! I get 4 bars (80%) signal strength almost all the time, my camper is a little over a quarter mile from the club house where the router is located. I can turn it different directions and see over 30 others. I don't remember what I paid for it, but it is worth every cent and more. An excellent product. Too bad they don't put six stars on their ratings.

I hooked it up to a usb bg adapter, drilled a hole in the wall near the ceiling, hooked up a 10 foot usb cable from my computer to the adapter and hooked up a 6 foot atenna cable from the adpater to the attenta. I can see all the access points up to 2 blocks away and see all the access point's traffic that is within 1 block without lost packets. That is with the antenna 6 feet from the ground. Will be putting it higher when it warms up outside and can mount a pole. Totally recommended but remember this attenta is directional, so you have aim the atenna in the direction you want

This was a good product with a lot of options. I appreciated the adapters that came with it.

Works great! Only drawback is you need a G router with a removable antenna, and their aren't many of those. My house is about 150' from the building I have my office in. I didn't want to pay for two Internet connections so I mounted this unit on the side of my office and we can get a good connection anywhere in the house. We can run three or four devices with no noticeable bandwidth slowdowns. Before trying the antenna I tried a couple of different N / N+ configurations. Don't buy the hype, I got maybe 10' more range from the N networks than I did on my G spec setup.

This is fantastic product, Bought 2 of these to use with an engenius external access point and hawking network extender and wow 5 bar signal strength at over 8000 feet, ordering an omni directional 15 dbi antenna to place in between with a second hawking network extender-Providing Entire Campground WIFI access at full strength.
