Solid tablet, but kid proof it is not.

Purchased two for my boys ages 10 and 8. Easy to get to know being our family's first Android device. Solid options and better than what I expected for $100. Purchased matching folio cases for both as well knowing these are boys and could be rough. Charger plug bends very easily if tablet is used while charging. This is very thin and not strong at all. Son has habit of removing from case to hear the sound better and thus has cracked his screen by either dropping it or sitting on it while in his bed. Regardless, it would have been on carpet, but I wasn't there, so no way to know what exactly happened. Overall, nice little tablet for the money. Obviously a couple features I would change, but for the money....

Not that good!

I wanted a cheap tablet to have at work. That is exactly what the Visual Land tablet is; the hardware is super low quality. The touch screen is my complaint; it does not respond well, you zoom when you want to slide. Visual Land tech support is nonresponsive they tell you to do a factory reset for every question and if you keep asking they ask for all of the info you have already submitted. The Visual Land tablet works well enough for my planned use but is not enough value for the cost! I have a Google Nexus as well; if you want a tablet that is awesome there is none better.

Dead Spots on Display

After a few months of use, groups of pixels have gone dark. Now the dead area (dead strips alternating with working strips) covers about 1 x 1 inch. Also the tablet has slowed to a crawl. Not a quality product.

Happy it wasn't really expensive

I bought this tablet on a whim because it was on sale cheap. Had I paid any more, I would have shipped it back by now. The display is lousy: images and text are not crisp and clear like you'd expect from a WGA display. Also, typing is an exercise in futility: for some reason there's a delay between touching the screen and seeing the results. Overall, this tablet is not even a decent toy.

No Google Play

I wish I had read things a little more closely. Limited apps available for the device, WHEN you can get them to download. Screen resolution is not horrible, but every time you're on a web page, the thing zooms when you touch the screen. The touch screen is very hit or miss when typing also or selecting things on a web page or app. Guess you get what you pay for!

Stinker

Bought this as my first tablet. Didn't hold a charge for more than 10 minutes. Found it a complete pain and returned it. Bought a Samsung Galaxy and MUCH happier!

Tablet is great for general purposes and browsing

I bought this tablet because of its microsft suite capabilities and the PDF reader. the internet browsing is fast and the tablet resolution is great. has an extra slot to add space to it to keep your tablet internal storage empty. I love this tablet, only thing it lacks the android market and cannot be downloadable. Google makes sure you cannot download google play as the tablet does not recognize file because visual land has not paid for this service. but other than that. Great product.

OK for the money

This units works fine for the cost paid. Pro's: - cheap cost - reasonably fast - solid construction - responsive screen Con's: - weak WIFI antena - mediocre screen resolution If you just want to play games, etc then is is a great deal! Web browsing is poor due to wifi and screen resolution. Not sure how this would be as a e-reader, probably fine.

Good low cost tablet

Very good low cost tablet. Does all I need without spending hundreds$. Good basic tablet.
