A bit pricey - but well worth it!
Quite honestly, this processor probably has more power than we will ever need, but that is a good thing. It is lightning fast in conjunction with motherboard that it was bundles with and the SSD that I installed. Windows starts up in about 8 seconds (no joke) and it runs our small businesses cash register software very well. We are using it as a server for our register system and couldn't be happier. I would love to see but it could do for high demand graphics, but I'll probably never get to use it for that!

Must Have!
This is way more power than anyone needs..unless you are a designer or what have you. This i7 is just great and had the thermal compound already installed on the fan. In my case I installed it with a NZXT dual radiator liquid cooler and I couldn't be happier. I am so happy with this and the best part is I haven't even overclocked it yet.. I'm in love with intel

Great Processor
Got this for a new build a couple weeks ago and it's working great. Putting out 5.9s on microsoft peformance tests. Recommend highly!

Minor complaint
When talking to the guy on the phone, he assured me (boxed unit) that it came with thermal compound in the box. I was doing a new build, so I timed my order to receive all my parts before the weekend. Come Friday all my parts were here except NO Grease. Other than that my rating would have been all five stars. Good CPU even with the stock fan. BTW the guy sent me my compound free of charge to make up for the mistake. Customer service here is top notch.

Thumbs up!
One more happy customer. The turbo mode makes OC-ing somewhat redundant for most of us. I use my CPU in a mini-ITX case with the stock CPU cooler able to keep the temperature under 70 C, even under the heaviest use (3 simultaneous extended strain-tests).

GREAT PROCESSOR 4 FAIR PRICE!!!!!
This is my 2nd build, and I coudn't be more pleased. Everything went together easy as eating pie. I went from AMD II X2 265, to this Intel Core I7-3770, with 2 Corsair 250GB SSD drives. Man what a big differance in speed and performance. Also I put in a bigger cooler Intel Thermal Solution XTS100H, reccomended by my friend,, this thing is wicked quiet, can't even hear the system running. Intel rocks is all i can say!!!!!!

Super!
A difference with my old Athlon XP 2400+. This CPU with my GIGABYTE GA-Z77X-UD3H is wonderfully fast. Quad core CPU for Photoshop and making DVDs at the same time is simply enjoyable.
