Great Processor

Great processor. I wanted power for my Hackintosh that I was building, and this thing cranks out everything like nothing. I have yet to even begin to stress the processor to it's capabilities and I throw a lot of stuff at it. It works really great and stays nice and cool under heavy stress loads with the stock fan. Awesome buy.

Awesome

An I5 would have been good for my use but I decided to get the best of the 1155 chips. Fast, runs slightly warmer than I was hoping for. Overclocking coming in the near future.

Great Processor

Great working product, works exactly as a need and simple to overclock. Able to max out the witcher 2 easily when paired with the gtx 670 i got, without overclocking the 3770k.

Fast. Easy to overclock.

Got it at $300 which was a decent price. No problems whatsoever. It overclocks to 4.5 without any issue on the cheap Hyper 212 Evo. Then idles at 1.6 when I'm just using a web browser. Doesn't bottleneck anything. About 5x the cpu performance of my Dual CPU, Dual Core Xeon 2.0 GHz system.

Great Processor

Upgraded from an AMD Athlon II dual core to the Intel I7. Big improvement lots faster and more stable.

Fine Processor

This is the first processor that I haven't been able to bury in applications. It works great and appears to be quite reliable. Nice!

Overclocking

From what I've read this CPU doesn't like voltage increases. if anything they recommend undervolting it, because that's what makes it run hot the most. So don't go over the stock voltage of 1.5v. I've got mine at 4.2 MHz ATM. I'm not playing any games with it yet so it's doing fine where it is, but I know I can push it as far as 4.8 MHz if I need to. I've seen a lot of high performance rigs using this proc. I't's 1 below no. 1 on the charts. BTW I'm using a H100i water cooler, and lots of fans.

Cant beat it

Best CPU out there atm, and tiger beats the price of most other places. No reason not to get the unlocked CPU at this price.

What can I say its I7

Great CPU for the money. Just wish Intel would provide better stock fans. Not worth taking away a star for. Went to water cooling and couldn't be happier.

Solid Buy

I was upgrading from a Gigabyte Z68 board to the Asus RoG Extreme Z77, so I thought why not upgrade my 2600k for a 3770k. Sold the 2600 to absorb some of the price of this, and got it on sale to boot. I had my 2600k overclocked to 4.5 ghz, and I took this thing to 4.6 ghz right out of the box with a slight voltage bump. I've seen a 10-15% increase in performance in various benchmarks. I've noticed that it definitely runs a bit hotter under load that my 2600k, but in my liquid loop it was only topping out in the low-to-mid 70s, which certainly won't kill it. I'm thinking of trying to take it up to 5.0 ghz after I make some adjustments and additions to my loop.
