BIG jump over Phenom 9500
Bought for my first ever build. Wanted something to fill in until I can upgrade to steamroller if and when it comes out. It replaced a Phenom 9500, so it's still a big jump over what I had in my old computer.

A nice surprise

works as expected
Paired with Asus m5a99x evo rev 2.0 works wonderfully, the Asus software for the motherboard overclocked it to about 4.1ghz using corsair h100 for cooling, and it was reasonably priced too, so I am happy :)

lightening fast
Got it as part of a barebones kit. this duad core cpu is amazing at gaming. with a radeon 7770 and 8gb of ram I'm playing games such as the new farcry 3 on max settings with 50-60fps.
