Great Buy, Great Value
I needed an external DVD burner for my laptop. Works right out of the box, after loading the driver of course. Easy to use, clean fresh design, takes up little space. I am very well pleased.

Does not work
It will not play a DVD or a program from CD, which have to be the two most basic of functions. I have a brand new ultrabook, with no dvd drive, so I bought this for basic functions. I have spent a couple of hours trying to get help, but the only help I get is to buy some software for $80!! In this day and age, you should be able to buy a basic commodity like this and it just work. If you want to buy this device then factor in the cost of hours of work and some extra cost. I am sure the guys who gave this a good review are smarter than me or have more time to waste than me. I just want to buy stuff and it works.

Works as expected

Recieved in time, didn't function
After spending a great deal of time with the Mfg., got permission to return. Their system didn't allow for online support, & the Email sent was not answered. Hopefully the replacement will be better.

Great DVD Burner
This thing just works, and works well. I have another drive I purchased a couple years ago for almost 3 times the cost of this one, but this one works better than the more expensive one. Such a great value !!
