Great Product

Does exactly what it is supposed to do. App store has a wide selection to choose from. I changed from a nook to this product so I could read books from Amazon as well as Barns & Nobel. Primary uses are E mail, internet radio, music player. Download a file manager from Play then down load flash player although not flash is not supported it works fine once downloaded. I would recommend to friend.

Nice little gizmo!

I like this little tablet. It does everything it is supposed to with no problems at all. I also bought a case with an easel back which makes it perfect for watching movies on Netflix. Still, all of these devices are overpriced.

Best deal for an Android tablet.

I spent a lot of time looking at Android tablets and found this to be the best deal out there. The big issue I have run across is all of the lower cost tab's do not have access to the Google Store, which leaves you out of many of the best apps. This is a solid device, and in it's size class, seems to be as good as anything else out there.

Inexpensive mobility

Got my Samsung Galaxy Tab on s deal. I was pleasantly surprised on how easy it was to use. If you want to be mobile without spending much, here's your answer.

Samsung or Nexus?

I was pleasantly surprised at the screen clarity and the performance on the Samsung Tab2. I purchased this one because of the dedicated video RAM (rather than the shared 1GB system RAM on the Nexus). A small sacrifice in that the tab didn't keep itself updated to the latest Android Version, but otherwise, the tablet is absolutely the right choice. Now I'm on to removing the bloatware, which is an expected side-effect on all Android devices.

Worth the Money

I recieved it as a Birthday Gift from my wife after hinting for a month and I was not disappointed. I read reviews and the Pros out weighed the Cons. I am glad I went with this tablet.

Very happy with this tablet!

I'm a diehard techie and researched for awhile before purchasing this tablet. My only complaint with it is that it doesn't have flash on the camera, but since my primary purpose for purchasing wasn't to shoot pictures, that's only a minor issue for me. Other than that, I love the speed, the functionality...everything. Just be sure that you understand this is wifi only.

No longer skeptical

I was skeptical about needing a tablet whether I should spend anymore money on Android products since I just upgraded my cell phone to a Motorola Razr Maxx which is fairly large. This very portable tablet changed my mind and I would definitely recommend this one for the price.

My fisrt Galaxy

I had been watching this tablet for a while. I had bough a Nook Color before and rooted it but it keeps freezing up and my wife found a game for it she liked so I took the opportunity to get the tab 7. It's a very nice tablet and the memory expansion is a plus. Although I am not happy that it needs it's own special cord (not usb mini or micro)

Great tablet with a few minor issues

I love this tablet and it performs great. The screen resolution is awesome for moview and apps. The samsung apps are an added benefit. The fact that is will act as a remote keyboard and navigation remote for the same brand tv is great fun!. I was not aware the built in 8GB memory was so debilitating. I added a 32 GB SD card only to realize you cannot move apps or movies stored within apps (flixter etc). It can only be used for pictures and misic that is stand alone. I downloaded two movies that I have on flixter and a few apps and I am down to 1GB free, ouch, poor design flaw here. The screen scrolling sometimes studders. Other than that I love it. I would have liked to known the memory limitations and gotten a bigger internal for sure.

Great tablet

This is our first tablet and it meets and exceeds all of our expectations. We have it loaded with some early learning software for our preschool aged children as well as some games for us.

fantastic tablet

This is my 3rd tablet, and absolutely the best one I've ever owned. It's fast, super collection of apps available, easy to use, just terrific.

Great First Tablet

I bought this for my son who 5 and a half. He uses it and likes it. He was already a master of my smart phone and this is like a big one for him. The wireless is fast on FiOS and the setup was a breeze. Great learning tool.

Had an original Asus Transformer that needed to be replaced so I figured I would give Samsung a chance and I haven't been disappointed so far. 7 inch has taken a little getting used to but it is much lighter and easier for me to hold. I will always stay with Android and Samsung has shown me why they are number 1.

Galaxy Good, Memory Card ??

Happy with the Galaxy so far, but I got a package deal that included a 16gb memory card, which I could have sworn was supposed to be a SD micro card that would fit in the Galaxy. Unfortunately they shipped a standard size SD card, which is nice, but useless for the Galaxy.

Excellent Choice of a Tablet

I had been on a hunt to find the best tablet that would work for what I want to do and this was my final choice. It was within my budget and I have not regretted purchasing this machine one day. It is still new to me and will take some getting used to but so far so good. I am happy and that's what matters :)

The BEST 7-inch Tablet!

I have informally tested five different tablets and the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 was by far the simplest and easiest to set up and get functional. It feels solid and responds quickly. The touch screen is just sensitive enough. The external microSD card slot made getting all my content on the tablet a breeze. Reading magazines and comics is a real joy. I love this tablet.

Love this machine!!

This is the absolute BEST tablet you can buy for the price. I love the simplicity, the ICS OS, and there are tons of great free apps. Get the keyboard that goes with it. This device can stream all kinds of media from your home NAS. I set mine right on my digital piano. Fantastic for looking up music stuff. I also found a MIDI controller app that works real well. Cannot beat this tablet. I'll go with Samsung products over IHole junk any day. Buy this tablet!!!

Excellent Tablet

Received the Samsung Tablet super fast for normal shipping (arrived in two days after order was placed). Excellent tablet though it was loaded with lots of apps that I am having to weed through and delete those I do not want. Have had no problems at all with the tablet. It has worked much greater than I ever expected. I bought it as a standby for my desktop computer that was getting long in the tooth. It died the day after the tablet arrived and I was able to keep up with all my emails right away. Could not be happier with this product. Would highly recommend it to anyone. Only con I have is that it is android and my computer with my games was Windows so no compatibility. Guess my gaming is on hold until I get around to fixing or replacing the old Desktop Computer. only reason for 4 stars on Features is the bloatware which was tremendous. Tech Level of owner:: Long time Computer Programmer and Tech Person.

Wonderful Product and Service

I have to say that I'm an in-betweener when it comes to electronics. I'm far from a tech guru or latest model junkie, but I am an avid user who has the sense of what good specs really are. The tab itself is convenient, looks great, has worked well right out of the box, and has most of what I need in terms of a personal device. I do recommend getting the micro SD card to go with it to increase the storage but I find for my own use thus far the included storage works just fine. A great picture and video quality with some better sound than I expected (seemed to have gotten poor reviews). Granted I wasn't expecting to get a home theatre system sound quality for the price, so this suffices quite well. The camera is very lack luster but considering I would have my phone on me in times of picture taking vs my tab this is okay. Video quality for skype though is surprisingly decent. All in all, very happy.

This tablet surpassed my expectations by far and was very easy to use. A big plus it uses Google Play and ran all apps with ease!

Intuitive tablet

For many years I been holding off on purchasing a tablet. Mainly because I own a desktop and laptop, making it hard to justify the need for a tablet. Oh was I wrong all those years. After a few days with this tablet I have no sign of buyers remorse. The features are more than I could ask for, external SD card is a plus! I own many Samsung products and like those products this tablet screams quality.

storage

It's only 4gb storage and it won't allow you to send anything to sd card. My phone is 4gb but I cand send most of my games to the sd card otherwise i guess its ok, it's my first tablet so I will see how it is

Very good product

This is a good product, my first tablet to own, I have had no problems with it and it has great battery life, easy to use and reasonably priced according to other tablets in its class, hard to find some accessories though but not imposible

Impressive

Tablet was delivered in super fast time and as described. Perfect go between for home use and setting down a Samsung galaxy 2 smart phone. So Easy to set up that my 9 year old knocked it out, including security features. Picture quality good and app selection is nice.

Disappointed!

I bought this tablet for watching movies and taking pictures as needed. It freezes on both tasks.

Samsung Tab 2 Freezes

This tablet is a piece of trash. It freezes and after there is no way you can make it start again. Before you buy it please check in internet to see how many disappointed owners have had the same experience. There are hundreds of complaints about this tablet freezing and at Samsung nobody seems to know how to solve the problem nor do they want to replace if for a new one. Please check well before you buy it.

Good product

I read every review on this unit and felt I might be taking a chance on it but it's a very good product and has lived up to my expectations very well. I find it a little slow on boot up, after it boots it is responsive, I would recommended this unit to any one who is looking for this type.

good unit over all

The only complaint I have Is the screen could be a bit more accurate but am hopping that is fixed in a update. Battery life is unbelievable I get nearly 5 hours of constantly using data and listening to music via pandora. I got it on sale and it was definitely worth what I paid.

Quality Tab

Well built and solid. Great e-book reader no matter where you buy your e-books. Android Ice Cream Sandwich is a good, fast OS and Samsung includes some of their own apps to play with. My first experience with a tablet computer and I am hooked; easily replaced my heavy, bulky laptop.

Great for what I use it for!

Bought this a few weeks ago since I don't want a smart phone but liked the multimedia capabilities of the Android platform. Used this during a trip to Europe. Battery lasts a long time and the OS is smooth and easy to Operate. Cameras are 'ok' and the only reason I gave it 4 stars on Features. Samsung cut corners on them and downgraded to a 3 MP Rear and 0.3 MP on the front. The previous generation Tab 7.0 had a 5 MP and 2 MP respectively. I got the Tab 2 for the OS (ICS vs Honeycomb) since Samsung is very slow to upgrade older products.

Perfect for what I'm doing.

I use it for the most basic functions. This is the best out there for what I'm doing I think. Its fast, the screen is plenty big enough, its colorful, I like the apps, and it tethers to my cell phone if I'm out and theres no wifi nearby. I'm still learning it so maybe later I can add more input. For now, yes I would totally recommend it.

2nd hand review

It was bought for Dad's wife...wanted this model. I found it difficult to find apps (unlike the IPad and IPhone we use). She seems content with it. I was surprised of the inability to find the level of apps like offered by Apple.

Well after much deliberating

Im sold bought a cheaper Tablet and after 3 Hours went back out and bought the one I knew I should have after a couple hours the difference is worth its weight in Gold don't make the same mistake go get Galaxy and let the fun begin

I have nothing but good things to say about my tablet. lots of storage, fast, and the Bluetooth lets me send files to my other computers. Samsung apps and Play Store apps great.

Better than the Kindle Fire

Wow! It was a night and day improvement. We use it to read books from the library, stream videos from Netflix and , Photos, Skype. Everything works so no need to root! I also have the new Ipad. This product has the fit and finish of the Ipad and the benefits of being able to access an open data eco-system. So I rate it better than the Ipad.

So far, great!

I have had this about a week now and used it pretty heavily with nothing but good things to say. I watched six hours of movies and still had battery life, the control and modification is easy and the tablet is quite fast. It is a good purchase.

Although the product performed well I was dissappointed that some of the available apps from the Google play store are not compatible with this model.

I Absolutely Love My Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0

I've had my Galaxy Tab 2 for a month now and I'm so glad I bought it. I've had no problems with it at all, it functions perfectly and has everything I need in a tablet. I didn't have to do any tweaking unlike my previous tablet and so far all the applications I've downloaded work great too! The Galaxy Tab 2 is extremely portable, so it goes in my bag to work everyday and I also take it with me when traveling. I purchased a nice leather blue tooth keyboard case for it from Amazon which fits perfectly, protects it and gives me the option of using the touch screen and keyboard together. It was a breeze pairing them and they've been working together ever since. Although I do have an older tablet that still works well and two laptops, I use my Galaxy Tab 2 a whole lot more even when I'm home. This purchase was well worth it and I have absolutely no regrets ...

Almost prefect

Bought this for my wife as an e-reader and want one for myself. I gave it 4 stars for features because I think it should have a mini HDMI out port or come with an adapter, other than that, it does everything we need right out of the box. I love the fact it connected right to our PC with in a minute. After dealing with our so called smart phones, this was a bonus. I would recommend this to a friend.

I LOVE My Samsung Galaxy Tab 2

All I have to say is woohoo I absolutely love my Tablet. I can do so much with this tablet I tethered my tablet to my phone so that I always have a wifi connection and it works perfect. I take my tablet everywhere with me, the size is perfect, From answering my emails, reading my books, listening to my music and to shopping online its da bomb!! If you're thinking of purchasing one DO IT you will not be disappointed. There is so much you can do with this tablet.

Terrific Product

I just got my tablet this week and I am just LOVING it! I am having so much fun listening to my music, and reading my books. Go Figure, who would have thought. Now I only wished I had gotten the new one. So far, so good. Nothing is perfect, but this tablet comes darn close. Wow!!!!

I purchase this tablet for my daughter as a replacement for an Aluratec that does not work properly, This tablet is just awesome, many features, fast, pictures and video are super clear, Many apps, very good design and easy to navigate. Just get it, you are not going to be disappointed.

Wow!!!

I had another tablet, so I was used to ''hacking'' a Android tablet to get better performance. I purchased this because I have learned 7'' is a good size in tablets and my other tablet was destroyed (a -45 MPH decelleration does not do well with electronics) so I took the stab at this one. I did not have to ''hack'' this tablet at all. Right out of the box it is good to go.

I'm still learning

This is the first tablet I've owned, so I'm still learning to use it. Seems to work as expected and is a better value than the A100 I bought for my wife at Christmas.

Nearly Great

I love this tablet. My wife has an iPad and wouldn't trade with her - it is just too big - might as well carry a net-book. However, at a certain point the video portion of the Galaxy stopped working - could neither view nor take video. Turning the device off and then on mostly fixes the problem; however when looking at a video, first one selects it, it starts playing and freezes, then one maximizes it and pushes the play button and then it will most often play - I do not think this is how it is supposed to work. Maybe when the OS is updated, this bug will disappear. The other issue, which is genuinely annoying is that there seems to be no way to view or manipulate files. I had do download some dodgy Chinese app and it only allows you to view, not delete or move files - and it only sees certain kinds of files, not pdf for example. If I plug the device into my computer, I can see them. There are some workarounds but it is annoying.

Great Tablet

Great Deal

I bought the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 for my wife's Mothers Day gift. Set up flawlessly and easily connected to home wi-fi. She especailly loves that she can view her e-mail without having to start up the desktop with passwords, etc. Set it up to use her password automatiacally - one touch to the screen and she is reading her e-mail. Out grand daughter loves to play games on it. Having the Android 4.0 operating system is a big plus.

I love this Tablet!

I bought this tablet to give to my husband for his birthday. I bought him one at Christmas that was less than impressive and this one was to be a replacement. This tablet is fast, will multi-task seamlessly, and has crisp clear colors. I had to program the tablet and set it up for him.During this time, I got to use it quite a bit and I must say I am very impressed. I love music, and the speakers in this tablet give my stereo laptop speakers a run for their money. The speakers emit crisp clear sound that amplifies nicely and impressively. The touch screen is very responsive and navigation is amazing. The games my husband plays are action packed and bulky, yet they never lag or stall. Overall this is worth the investment and I noticed he takes this tablet everywhere unlike the other one that he would always ''forget''. I would absolutely recommend this tablet to anyone.

Pleasantly Surprised!

I have used a few android tablets and I have an android phone. I wasn't sure what to expect from a 7 inch tablet but I am really enjoying the Galaxy Tab. Responsive, and easy to use, I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an inexpensive yet high quality tablet.

Great Product!

I don't use tabs in my business because they seem to be more a toy than a tool. I try to keep up with Tech so when they can be used as a tool I will have a basic knowledge. However saying all that, Samsung is all I buy as far as electronics, they make great electronics and this is no different. A great product... feels good in my hands.

Great Tablet (esp. for the price)

This is my first tablet, but it's pretty easy to use and figure out. Pretty good amount of apps available in Play store. Decent cameras. Would highly recommend.

Super Tablet for third of the price of IPad

A great buy. I have a 64GB IPad which is a great product. However, this 7 inch tablet with the 32GB card (bought separately) is a super product. Have used the camera and put some of my photos from my computer. The slide show and the videos are superb! Couldn't be happier.

Great Tablet for the Price

Purchased this tablet because I wanted something smaller and LESS costly than the standard iPad. Love the fact that the Tab 2 comes with Android 4.0, however some apps are not yet compatible with it yet (HBO Go & Washington Post for instance). Over time I'm sure this will change. I purchased at 32 G card to bring total memory up to 40 G. Only thing that I've noticed is the operating system sometimes thinks it's working on a phone. Plan to use this as an eBook and to watch downloaded movies in addition to surfing the web and for social media. It will be coming with me on upcoming business and personal trips.

Excellent tablet for the price

The picture quality is very good. Lots of apps to choose from. Nice size - easy to carry and travel with. Displays text clearly so that reading a book is pleasent. Haven't used the webcam yet.

Great value, great tablet

This is my first tablet, and it's fantastic. Tons of apps, keeps itself updated. New operating system, so some apps still need to be developed for it. Sleek, compact. Highly recommended. Just so there's no surprise, it's considerably smaller than an ipad.

I love my Galaxy Tab. Get one, you will too. I needed extreme portability and functionality. I got both in this unit. Battery life is a little over 10 hours with heavy use playing games and surfing the web. It is perfect. My girlfriend likes it so much that she told me that we need to replace her obe year old netbook with the 10 inch version. I never should have let her use it..... So in a couple weeks she is getting one for her birthday!

Great for a small tablet, but not an iPad

I presently own an iPad but needed a much smaller device to carry around all day for e-mail, some internet work, and my hobby of photography. This product appears slower than the iPad when surfing. I do not find the Apps as good or diverse, and the operating system is quirky. Just figuring out how to get the icons on the screen was not intuitive. My 5 year old was able to figure out how to use the iPad without any instructions, but this took a geek like me a few hours to get it going. Adobe Flash has to be loaded separately from the store. It has to be rebooted about once per day due to crashes of the apps. The camera is great! In summary it serves its purpose with a decent size screen larger than a phone, great camera, and suitable for light internet chores for my job. It is light enough to carry around all day. I would give it 4 out if 5 stars.

Nice little tablet

This is the first tablet that I've bought. I think for the price it's great. Once you get everything set up in the tablet it works quite well. I love the camera on it. It takes pretty good pictures for being a 3mp camera. All in all you can't go wrong for the money.

Not for me

I don't want to give a bad impression of the product. It seems to be well made, the video quality is very good and the audio is surprisingly good for such a small device. The problem is that I realized that I'm just not a fan of tablets and prefer something with a keyboard and regular internet surfing.
