Didn't get everything shown

So far I'm not impressed and I just unpacked the box. The last photo shown here is of the contents included and it clearly has 2 cables plus the power supply. All that's in this box is the power supply. I bought this because I needed one eSata drive to do something. It's great they include the little screwdriver I don't need, but now I have this case with no eSata cable and there are no longer brick and mortar shops to run out and pick one up. I have a USB cable on hand, but that's not what I need this for, so this is useless to me until I wait another week and pay more money for the cable shown to be supplied. If you aren't including any cables, don't imply that you are and I'll be prepared. For right now, not impressed.

Works well

Works well, but needs ventilation system for cooling, gets pretty warm to touch.

Outstanding quality and workmanship

I've bought two Sarbent enclosures and my son also bought one. I've had my Sarbent IDE enclosure for over a year & it still works perfectly as does the IDE my son bought. The SATA Sarbent I recently bought also works well. Set-up was quick and easy and heat dissipation is excellent. I've used my IDE enclosure for extended periods of time without overheating.

Great for DVR Expander

I bought two of these; one for a relative and one for myself, to expand the capacity of our PVRs. My relative used a 1 TB, and I used a 500 GB. The eSATA interface is perfect for our PVR (Explorer 8300HD) and it works great without any problems at all. I would highly recommend this enclosure for expanding your PVR, but be warned: NOT ALL CABLE PROVIDERS ALLOW YOU TO EXPAND YOUR PVR, SO CALL THEM TO SEE IF THE PORT IS ENABLED.

work flow friendly

Very nice for price.. versatility keeps focus on tasks.. and not hardware configuation. No problem jumping large Hd Video files. Rember to turn off when not in use.. heat.

Not what it appears to be!

1) The item I received was not what is in the photograph on the website. I did get model EC-ESU4K or as they call it now model EC-ESTK. 2) The enclosure is not all aluminum. 3) The LED power wiring inter fees with the instal of the hard drive. 40 I do NOT recomend this particular encloser. I will go back to another brand.

Good but like Ultra better

So far all it well. I do like the Ulta better though... too bad they are not longer available. Sabrant enclouser has no defects. Works fine... a little noicy at times but... good. IT does the job I got it for.

Sleek Enclosure Mirror Finish

I bought one of these for a 3TB Green WD drive, and setup was easy. I really like the mirror finish, definitely a sleek look.

Bought it on impulse

I bought it at the store without reading the reviews. But my experience so far is OK. I assembled it in five minutes, not missing the little light connector. The Seagate 1.5TB drive I used runs pretty hot, so the case must dissipate the heat, it can't run cold with this drive. It's too early to see longevity, but so far it's great.
