The 360 has BlueTooth capability, meaning that you can pair it with your BlueTooth-capable cellphone, making the Nuvi 360 a hands-free kit (sort of) for the phone. Otherwise, the 350 and the 360 are identical.

They are the same. The nuvi 360 has a wireless Bluetooth connection for compatible phones. You can use it as a speaker phone. Otherwise they are identical.

The bluetooth should work with just about any device that has a ''discoverable'' mode. This was the first device I have owned that actually had to find my phone, not the other way around. I didn't even know my phone had a discoverable mode until I looked for it in the bluetooth menu. I am using it with a Motorola KRAZR. I assume it would be the same with other Motorola models. As far as MP3 goes, it sound like crap through the internal speaker but all you would need is an ''FM Modulator'' that plugs in to the earphone jack and cigarette lighter (note you will need two lighter outlets). This will broadcast onto an unused FM frequency to be picked up by your stereo. Avoid units that only have available frequencies at one end of the FM band. Some units can be set to broadcast at any frequency across the spectrum making it easier to find an unused channel. The best way to connect however is through an aux input if your stereo has one. This eliminates the problems inherant w/FM modulators.

I know of no reason to prevent it from pairing with that phone (but I'm no BlueTooth expert). To play in the car stereo, you need either a male-male 3.5mm stereo cable (assuming the car stereo has an aux input like for an iPod), or an FM modulator such as this: http://www.amazon.com/Scosche-FMMOD01-Universal-FM-Modulator/dp/B0007THIDQ or this: http://www.crutchfield.com/App/Product/Item/Main.aspx?g=251550i=607FMDA25tp=1701

Only maps for North America (Canada USA) are included. You must purchase a data card with the Europe maps on it in order to use the 360 in Europe.

You ask about preloaded maps, can I update this maps when the country or state are in progress, new roads and highways. Or the update is automatic thru satellite comunication. Did you have to pay for the update?

Yes. If you press on the GPS signal bars in the upper left corner on the home screen, the nuvi 360 will display detailed information about your GPS signal as well as your current coordinates and altitude.

SOS!!! I updated the map from Garmin official website. I followed up the instruction step by step. But why after i updated, i couldn't find Canadian map in details, and only have USA maps? The map file name is: Garmin_RMU_CNNANT2010CI checked everything and installed it twice, still couldn't figure out the reason, i got everything like unlock code, key..... My friend bought another model and updated the map by same file and he got the whole North American map. Anyone met that problem too?

Just got the 360 ... and so far so good ... but I do have a question ... Can you update the POIs and if so how or where can i get them? because yesterday I was in front of costco waiting for my wife and wanted to see if that costco would show up when i searched for ''near'' my current location and it actually didn't show up the closest one was downtown toronto ... so please if anybody out there can shed a light on this it would be greatly appreciated

Mine came with City Navigator '09. You can connect to garmin (within the first 60 days of powering up the unit) and download the updated maps (2010) for free. After the 60 days, you must purchase any updates you would like. This 60 day period allows you to get the newest map available at the time of your purchase.

Aside fro the bigger display of the nuvi 650 (4.3 in), the only difference these two has is that the nuvi 360 has an integrated bluetooth capability while the nuvi 650 doesn't have that feature.

The only difference between the two models is that the 010-00538-00 comes in English packaging while the 010-00538-12 comes with English and French manual and packaging. The model featured here is the 010-00538-00.

I bought the 360 GPS for my son for Christmas. he's an OTR driver. What accessory can I get him that would be most useful with his GPS - weather, traffic advisory (construction, accidents, etc) or what? Hopefully there's a brother truck driver out there who uses the Garmin and can advise me. I'm technology challenged! thanks.

The first thing is to get annena for the truck (Tractor/Trailer) The ones in most GPS packges are for the car.2) Make shore it has seting for trucks this will avoid parkways and other forbiden commercial trucks Parteckly the coast east or west coast and major citys. This is inportant to be effective.3) Go to a truck stop (ex Petro)or someone who deals/dealt with big rigs They will have the right annenna for the truck and steer you to the right GPS.
