Great in After Effects
I do motion graphics and animation for a living. I was hesitant to upgrade to CS6 (adobe creative cloud) because of hardware acceleration. My old computer couldn't handle most of the new features too well. With this new card, the 3D ray tracing is actually doable. Maybe not anything near quadro speeds, but it's fast enough to do work with it if you want to that kind of stuff. It also helps with render times in Premiere, accelerates a lot of features in Photoshop. Basically it makes life smoother and faster. For the price, which is more middle of the road in my opinion, it's a really great card. You should also know that I run all my apps on an SSD, cache everything on a separate drive, have 32gb of 1600mhz HyperX RAM, and an Intel I7 3930K (6 core, 3.2ghz, 3rd gen).

Doesn't even break a sweat
I had been running an NVidia GeForce 9800 GTX+ in my main gaming PC, and it was starting to show it's age. I debated back and forth for a long time whether to go with the 680 or maybe drop down to a 640. The price point on the 640 was good, but I realized that I'd likely run this card for 3+ years, which made the price difference a lot less relevant. I'm really happy that I went with the MSI 680. It runs everything I can throw at it without even warming up. It's quiet and now I can run every game at the highest settings without any problem. I highly recommend this MSI GeForce 680 card.
