Perfect use of old hard drives
This enclosure made it easy to use the old 1TB hard drive we just removed and turn it into an external hard drive. It was a straight forward process and we had no problems getting it put together, formatted and partitioned. We plugged it into a USB port and BLAM it was right there ready to go. Can't ask for easier.

Fast Install and Works Great

Nice Product
I bought this unit to clone an existing drive onto new 2 TB drive. The metal enclosure is solid and well designed. Nice quality, easy setup, works great!

problems
The switch is a slide one rather hard to turn off and on,should have been a rocker. Has disk activity light that is always ON steady.

Excellent HD enclosure
Works fine, quiet, well made. Support is superb - tech called me on my cell phone twice to answer my questions, and he was very knowlegeable.

Great product
The hard disk vibrates a lot but that's not the enclosure's fault. I reduced that vibration by putting the enclosure up side down on the included base.

Good price & quality
I needed a HDD enclosure with an eSATA port to hook up to a Motorola PVR. This one had that and included the eSATA cable which would normally run another $10+ if bought separately. There is also USB 2.0 capability + cable (no USB 3.0 but I didn't buy it for USB). Looks great, very well built, and the price was very reasonable.
