Dead Slow

Only about a quarter of the speed of my other USB drives - 4MB per second as opposed to 16MB per second. This is my second attempt to post review be interesting to see if they powers that be post this one.

Hugh Capacity but a Little Slow

The drive writes perhaps twice as fast as fast as the cheapest drive of this capacity. If I spent twice as much, or more, then I could have gotten one that wrote two or three times as fast as this one. Since I only needed my data backed up once, this one served well. I backed up all the data I have written or saved in the last twelve years in just 37GB of this 64GB drive. I will put this drive in a safety posit box in the bank, and have the data backed up again on a portable drive in a drawer upstairs. My data is safe.

Great For The Price

Only had it for 2 weeks but it performes exactly as advertised

Excellent quality

This is a bit clunky in size--probably can't fit two next to each other, but the performance is top-notch, the amount of space is fantastic, especially for music files, and the look is cool. The sliding cover is great, too. No lost caps. Working flawlessly so far. (Even if it's a Dane.)

Great Gift for My Almost Son

I picked this up for a young co worker of mine who is like a son to my wife and I me because he often needs to move videos from one computer to another and was using a smaller drive multiple times. I saw this and the price was great so I bought it and surprised him with it. He loves it and thanks me constantly. I would recommend this to anyone interested in a large capacity flash drive. Hopefully it will come back in stock again.

Large USB Flash Drive

I needed a larger storage device and this drive did the job. I would purchase another one in an instant.

Good design and good capacity

Windows measures capacity in a more conservative way than manufacturers do so this drive will show up as 60.5GB (And a 32GB flash drive will show up as around 29.4GB in Windows). Anyway, it holds a LOT of stuff and the connector retracts into the cover so there's no cap to lose. What about performance? When you transfer photos, music, and videos onto the flash drive (called write) the speed will be around 12.5MB per second, and smaller files such as plain text documents will write at around 6.5MB per second. This is better than the cheapest flash drives which only manage to write half as fast. Loading, playing or looking at videos, music, and photos (called read) will go faster at around 18.5MB per second which is normal in this price range. If you need really fast performance, say, double or triple those speeds then be prepared to pay at least double the price. This rugged little Dane-Elec is a good buy for normal home use.

Very Good Buy

I love this flash drive! For 64 GB, its very slim and has a non slip grip. Plus it just looks cool. Good for quick in and out work as well as long term use. It doesn't use alot of PHYSICAL space, as some other bulkier drives allowing the use of side by side USB use. Just wish that it came with a ring or rope or something, seems kinda Ikea like selling separate. All in all A+

Been looking on a few sites for a 64gb that was reasonably priced and this is just what I was looking for! I love how much music it can hold and love the color too :) I can't believe how cheap it was especially for a 64gb...even walmarts price was more expensive! Look no further because you will not be dissapointed. If you take care of your products it will last you for a long time :) Recommend to anyone and everyone!
