Great replacement Motherboard
Great board, very clear and easy to read manual, and all the little extras you'd expect from a quality ASUS product. I went from an i7 920 at 2.66Ghz to this board running an i7 2700 at 3.5Ghz, and I didn't expect much difference, but man was I surprised. The board and CPU crank through video compression noticeably faster than the older processor. Plus the UEFI BIOS makes this board get through POST in under 4 seconds, unlike the older Intel DX58SO board I was running before. I highly recommend this board.

Works flawlessly
I built a computer for my wife with this mb and it works flawlessly. Highly recommended with Intel i5 3470 and a SSD. Nothing comes close to its speed. I have used ASUS motherboards for years and keep coming back to them due to the low rate of defects compared to any other mb manufacturer. Yes, occasionally you can have a problem, but they have been very rare.

It Just Works!
I've had this mobo in my main rig for over 5 months now, updated the BIOS 4 times (USB BIOS Flashback worked flawlessly), upgraded RAM and CPU cooler, installed 4 different OS's and 2 different SSDs, and a few drive changes, overclocked the CPU and RAM, played high powered games, and benchmarked severely. Through it all, including high overclocks that failed and CMOS clearing, this board has performed flawlessly. There was never a time when I was worried, the board recovered every time I blue-screened it. The only thing I haven't tried is the Asmedia SATA ports as I have no need (yet). Get this board, you won't regret it.

Problems with USB
Bought this for my wife's computer set up as I have an ASUS MB of my own. After a few weeks, noticed the networking speed was very slow compared to my laptop sitting right beside it. Came to find out that all the USB ports were VERY slow. Opened a ticket, applied maintenance, etc, but the problem remains. Going to junk it and buy something else to replace it.

Great board
I purchased this board as the foundation of a PC that would be used by a local arts organization in their film and animation classes. I built the system with a Core i7 3770 CPU and 16 gigs of Corsair RAM (check the compatability list folks!!!) Easy install, good features for the money. Only downside to this board was a lack of a Firewire port, but the video capture card the center uses took care of that.

Avoid at all costs
I purchased one of these to be part of a work horse system. Price seemed right and it had the features I needed. First one worked for about a day before suddenly the graphics cards I had installed stopped working. I pulled both of them out and replaced them with another card I had on hand, and it did not work. I switched to the onboard DVI. It worked for an hour before my monitors stopped receiving signal. The onboard VGA was also dead. I received a replacement. It didn't even make it that far. No graphics from either onboard port, no video cards work in either PCI-E slot. I'm not even getting post noises off of this one when it boots. Done with Asus motherboards.

Warning!!!
Great product, but I recommend you go to asus and check the compatibility list for your RAM. Mine was not compatible with the factory version of the BIOS. I had to take it to a technician so he could lend me a ram stick to make my pc start up and update the BIOS so that it could actually accept my RAM sticks.

Great, when it works....
Had this for a month. Worked great until I tried updating the BIOS. I downloaded the latest and ran the update through the AI Suite. Rebooted and nothing and can't get into the BIOS setup. Guess what also doesn't work. The BIOS flashback that is suppose to repair an issue like this. ASUS is kind enough to let me pay to send it to them and wait three weeks for a return. Great thing I bought this for my work and school computer so I can get things done in a timely fashion.
