Used this motherboard in my first build from scratch PC. Everything went together fine, and I had no problems bringing the PC up. Very happy so far.

Good Motherboard, don't forget to update bios
Got mine a couple of weeks ago. Tried installing 3 4gb DDR3 sticks but it was only recognizing 8gb of RAM, and I couldn't figure out why. I did a little searching and found that you needed to flash update the BIOS. Once I did it immediately fixed the problem.

Hard to setup Motherboard
I almost agree with the previuos post - maybe not as forcefull however. This motherboard is hard to configure - and I have built many systems in the past. The manual is not matching what the board is doing. The Marvel Raid is impossible to set up and pretty much useless. The Intel Raid is no much easier but works ok when finally initalized and up and running. The Bios pretty much does what it wants. The settings sometimes change like magic by themselves when unpluggin an externalk USB drive. And the wors of all - the techincal support not reponding at all. I posted twice on the companies web-site support page and for 2 weeks still wait for a response from my first posting. Anyway, next time I will go with Intel.

weiredest funny pages
this thing is the weiredest funny pages named boi settings no way one can figure out what the heck it does its virtual;ly useless and garbage in the box now on the table trash for sure in my opinion settings in bios do not change in any manner to me sems is screwed up 1000 percent

Great motherboard!
Awesome motherboard, working great with an Intel i7. Gigabyte has great features and utilities that ship with their motherboards. I used SmartResponse EZ Setup and it was literally one-click to get that running. Everything is running cool and fast!

Great Motherboard
Haven't had any problems paired it with a I5-2500k (should have waited for Ivy Bridge, oh well) and 4gb Corsair Vengeance. runs Fantastic! would recommend to everyone.
